OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Avesta, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” Spoiler alert: it was NOT. First off, I’m running late. Classic me. I grab my coffee from that cute little café on Storgatan. You know, the one with the funky art on the walls? Yeah, that one. I spill half of it on my new shirt. Ugh! I’m like, “Great start, genius.” So, I rush to my first appointment. It’s at this fab boutique on Kungsbacken. I’m styling this bride-to-be, and she’s a total sweetheart. But then, her mom shows up. And let me tell you, this lady is a piece of work. She’s all like, “Why don’t you try something more… traditional?” I’m like, “Lady, it’s 2023! Let her shine!” Anyway, we finally settle on this gorgeous dress. It’s got lace, it’s got sparkle, it’s everything. I’m feeling good, right? But then, the bride’s phone rings. It’s her ex. Like, seriously? Who even calls their ex on their wedding day? I’m just standing there, trying to keep my cool while she’s having a meltdown. After that chaos, I head over to the park by the river. It’s so pretty there, with the trees and the water. I take a deep breath, trying to chill. But then, I see this guy walking his dog. And not just any dog—a huge, fluffy, drooling mess. The dog runs straight at me, and I’m like, “Nope!” I dodge it like I’m in the Olympics. Next, I’m off to meet my friend at the Avesta Art. We’re supposed to check out this exhibit. But guess what? It’s closed! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” So, we end up wandering around the streets, just chatting and laughing. We hit up a food truck on Västergatan. I get this amazing kebab, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I drop it. Yup, right on the ground. I’m standing there, staring at my fallen food like it’s a tragedy. My friend’s cracking up, and I’m just like, “Why, universe, why?” Finally, we decide to call it a day. I’m walking back home, and I pass by the old church on Stora Torget. It’s so beautiful, but I’m too tired to appreciate it. I just wanna crash. As I’m heading home, I can’t help but think about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. I laughed, I cried (okay, maybe not cried, but you get it), and I definitely got my steps in. Avesta, you wild city, you never fail to surprise me. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of chaos, laughter, and a little bit of heartbreak. But hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
