Man, what a day! Seriously, Huddinge, you’ve outdone yourself. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring Tuesday. Spoiler alert: it was anything but. So, I roll outta bed, grab my coffee (essential, right?), and head out. First stop? The bus station at Huddinge C. I’m waiting there, scrolling through my phone, when I hear this loud honking. I look up, and it’s this dude in a beat-up old car, just blasting music. Like, bro, chill! We’re not at a festival. But hey, it’s Huddinge, so I guess anything goes. Finally, I hop on the bus to visit some schools. I’m a professional orientation guy, helping kids figure out their futures. You know, the usual. But today? Today was a rollercoaster. First school was on Källbrinksvägen. Nice place, but the kids were all over the place. One kid, let’s call him Max, was like, “I wanna be a YouTuber!” I’m like, “Dude, that’s cool, but what’s your backup plan?” He just stared at me like I was speaking Martian. Classic. Then, I head over to the next school on Huddinge Torg. It’s a bit more chill there. I’m talking to a group of girls, and they’re all about fashion and social media. One of them, Lisa, says she wants to be a fashion designer. I’m like, “Awesome! You gotta check out the local shops on Stuvsta Torg.” I mean, they’ve got some cool stuff. But then, outta nowhere, the fire alarm goes off! Total chaos! Kids running everywhere, teachers trying to keep it together. I’m just standing there, thinking, “Is this a drill or what?” Turns out, it was just a burnt toast incident in the cafeteria. Phew! After that madness, I needed a breather. So, I hit up a café on Huddinge Torg. Grabbed a cinnamon bun (yum!) and a latte. I’m sitting there, enjoying my snack, when I overhear this couple arguing. Like, come on, guys, keep it down! But then, they start laughing, and I’m like, “What just happened?” Turns out, they were just messing around. Classic Huddinge vibe, I guess. Next, I had to visit a high school on Bredängsvägen. The kids there were a bit older, and I thought, “Finally, some serious conversations.” But nope! They were all about TikTok trends. One guy, Erik, was showing me this dance. I tried to join in, and let’s just say, I have two left feet. The kids were dying laughing. I mean, I’m here to help, not to become a meme! By the time I wrapped up, I was exhausted. But I had one last stop: a community center on Huddingevägen. I thought it’d be a chill end to the day. Nope! They were hosting a talent show. I walk in, and it’s packed. People singing, dancing, doing magic tricks. I’m just standing there, feeling like a deer in headlights. Then, they drag me on stage. I’m like, “What? No way!” But they’re all cheering, so I just go with it. I end up telling a joke about my day. It bombed, but hey, at least I got a few chuckles. Finally, I head home, and I’m just thinking about how wild today was. Huddinge, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart racing. From burnt toast to talent shows, you never fail to surprise me. I’m beat, but I wouldn’t trade this day for anything. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
