OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Kristinehamn, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a client at Café Värmlands, which is like the cutest spot ever. I’m talking cozy vibes, great coffee, and pastries that make you wanna cry. But of course, I’m running late. Typical me. I sprint down Storgatan, dodging people like I’m in some weird obstacle course. I swear, if one more person stops to take a selfie with the giant statue of Picasso, I’m gonna lose it. Like, it’s just a statue, people! Finally, I get to the café, and my client is already there, looking fab. We start chatting about her style, and she’s all about that boho life. I’m vibing with her, but then she drops a bomb. “I wanna go full-on punk for my wedding.” Wait, what?! Punk? For a wedding? I mean, I’m all for self-expression, but girl, you’re gonna scare your grandma! So, I’m trying to convince her to tone it down a bit. We’re brainstorming ideas, and I’m like, “How about a cute floral dress with a leather jacket?” But she’s not having it. She wants spikes and chains. I’m thinking, “This is Kristinehamn, not a rock concert!” But hey, it’s her day, right? After that, I needed a breather. I strolled down to the waterfront. The view of Lake Vänern is just stunning. Like, I could sit there forever. But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Ugh! I’m soaked in seconds. I’m standing there, looking like a drowned rat, and I just laugh. Because what else can you do? I duck into a little shop on Östra Storgatan. It’s this quirky place with all sorts of random stuff. I find this ridiculous hat that looks like a fish. I put it on and take a selfie. Gotta document the madness, right? I send it to my bestie, and she’s like, “What are you doing?!” I’m like, “Living my best life in Kristinehamn!” Then, I get a call from another client. She’s freaking out because her dress didn’t arrive. I’m like, “Girl, chill. We’ll figure it out.” But inside, I’m panicking. I mean, what do you do when the dress is MIA? I suggest we hit up some local boutiques. Kristinehamn has some hidden gems, and I’m determined to find something fab. We hit up this cute little place on Tullgatan. The owner is super sweet and has the best taste. We find a dress that’s even better than the original! I’m feeling like a styling genius. My client is over the moon, and I’m like, “See? Kristinehamn has your back!” But then, as we’re leaving, I trip over my own feet. Classic me. I go down hard, and I’m just lying there, laughing. The shop owner rushes over, and I’m like, “I’m fine, just testing the floor!” We all crack up, and it’s one of those moments that makes you realize how ridiculous life can be. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but happy. I grab a burger at a place on Kungsbacken. It’s greasy and perfect. I sit outside, watching the sunset over the lake. Kristinehamn is beautiful, even when it’s chaotic. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of drama. Just another day in the life of a stylist, I guess! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
