Man, what a day! I swear, being a swineherd in Sundsvall can be a wild ride. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I head down to Storgatan. It’s the main street, ya know? Packed with shops and cafes. I’m just minding my own business, thinking about my pigs, when I bump into this dude. He’s all like, “Hey, you’re the swineherd!” I’m like, “Yeah, that’s me.” He starts asking me about my pigs, and I’m trying to be polite, but dude, I got places to be! Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a dog. The dog’s got a stick, and it’s like a scene from a movie. I’m laughing, but then the kid trips! Falls right in front of me. I’m like, “Oh no!” But he just gets up, brushes off, and yells, “I’m okay!” Kids are tough, man. So, I finally make it to the market at Norra Berget. It’s buzzing! Fresh veggies, fish, and all that jazz. I’m looking for some good feed for my pigs. I spot this old lady selling potatoes. She’s got the best ones, I swear. But then, she starts telling me about her cat. Like, I’m here for potatoes, not a cat story! But she’s sweet, so I listen. After that, I’m walking down to the harbor. The view is killer! You can see the fjord and all the boats. I’m feeling good, right? But then, I see this guy trying to park his car. He’s all over the place, like he’s never seen a parking spot before. I’m standing there, shaking my head. “C’mon, man! It’s not rocket science!” Then, I decide to grab a coffee at a café on Södra Berget. I order a latte, and the barista is super friendly. We start chatting about the weather, and I’m like, “Yeah, it’s been crazy lately.” But then, she spills my drink! All over the counter! I’m just standing there, mouth open, like, “Did that just happen?” She’s super apologetic, but I’m just laughing it off. “It’s cool, I needed a wake-up call anyway!” So, I’m finally heading back home, and I’m thinking, “What a day!” But then, I hear this commotion. There’s a parade or something on Storgatan! People are dancing, music blasting, and I’m just standing there, soaking it all in. I mean, who doesn’t love a good parade? But then, I see my neighbor, Lars. He’s trying to join in, but he’s got two left feet. I’m cracking up! He’s flailing around like a fish outta water. I can’t help it; I’m laughing so hard I almost drop my phone. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. I plop down on my couch, thinking about my pigs. They’re probably wondering where I’ve been. But honestly, I wouldn’t trade this day for anything. Sundsvall is wild, unpredictable, and full of surprises. Just like my pigs! So yeah, that was my day. Full of laughs, a bit of chaos, and a whole lotta love for this crazy town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
