Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Vadstena, right? The sun was shining, birds chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had to rush to the office on Storgatan. I mean, who doesn’t love a little morning chaos? I spilled coffee all over my favorite shirt. Classic me. I was like, “Great, just what I needed.” But whatever, I threw on a jacket and dashed out. So, I’m walking down the cobblestone streets, and I’m thinking about how beautiful Vadstena is. Like, the castle? OMG, it’s stunning! I mean, who wouldn’t wanna live in a castle? But then I remembered I’m just an office manager, not a princess. Ugh. Anyway, I get to the office, and my boss is already there, looking all serious. He’s like, “We need to talk about the budget.” I’m like, “Dude, it’s Monday. Can’t we just vibe for a sec?” But nooo, we had to dive into spreadsheets. Yawn. Then, outta nowhere, my coworker Anna bursts in. She’s all flustered, saying she lost her keys. I’m like, “Girl, did you check the café on Tullgatan?” She’s always losing stuff. It’s like a talent or something. So, we all decide to help her look. We’re running around the office, checking under desks, in the break room, everywhere! I’m starting to get annoyed. Like, can’t we just focus on work? But then, we hear this loud crash. I swear, my heart stopped. Turns out, it was just the delivery guy dropping a box of donuts. Thank the heavens! I mean, who doesn’t love donuts? So, we all take a break and munch on those sugary delights. Best part of the day, for sure. After the donut break, we finally found Anna’s keys. They were in her bag the whole time. Classic. I couldn’t help but laugh. But then, I got a call from a client. They were super angry about a mistake we made. I was like, “Oh great, just what I needed.” I had to calm them down. I mean, I’m not a therapist, but I tried. I told them about the beautiful Vadstena lake and how it’s all about peace and tranquility. They didn’t care, but hey, I tried! By the time lunch rolled around, I was exhausted. I decided to take a stroll by the lake. It was so pretty! The water was sparkling, and I could see the Vadstena Abbey in the distance. I took a deep breath and thought, “This is why I love this place.” But then, I saw a bunch of kids throwing rocks into the water. I was like, “Noooo! Don’t do that!” I mean, come on, let’s keep the lake nice, right? But they just laughed at me. Kids these days, I swear. After lunch, back to the grind. More spreadsheets, more emails. I was losing my mind. Then, I got a surprise visit from my friend Max. He brought me a coffee. Bless him! We chatted about the weekend plans. I was like, “Let’s hit up the Vadstena Festival!” But then, my phone buzzed. Another client issue. I was like, “Seriously? Can’t a girl catch a break?” I had to put on my serious face again. Finally, the day ended. I was so ready to go home. I walked back through the streets of Vadstena, feeling a mix of relief and exhaustion. I thought about how crazy the day was. I mean, who knew being an office manager could be this wild? As I got home, I plopped on the couch and just sighed. What a day! I love Vadstena, but man, it sure knows how to keep me on my toes. Here’s to hoping tomorrow’s a bit more chill. But knowing my luck? Yeah, right!
