Man, what a day! I swear, Vallentuna really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m out here, right? Just another day as a car instructor, chillin’ in my little corner of the world. I start my morning on Valthornsvägen, sipping my coffee, thinking it’s gonna be a breeze. Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT. First student rolls up. Let’s call him “Nervous Nick.” Poor dude was shaking like a leaf. We hop in the car, and I’m like, “Breathe, man. It’s just a car.” But nah, he’s gripping the wheel like it’s a lifeline. We hit the road, and I’m trying to keep it cool. We cruise down Vallentuna Torg, and I’m thinking, “This is it! We’re gonna nail this!” Then, outta nowhere, this pigeon decides to play chicken with us. I’m like, “Dude, swerving won’t help!” Nick freaks out, yanks the wheel, and we’re suddenly veering towards the curb. I’m yelling, “Not the curb! The other way!” We barely miss a lamp post. I’m sweating bullets, and Nick’s face is a mix of terror and confusion. After that, I needed a breather. We pull over on Storgatan, and I’m like, “Okay, let’s chill for a sec.” I’m trying to calm him down, but then I see this cute little café. I’m like, “Dude, let’s grab a pastry. You’ll feel better.” So we hit up that place, and I get a kanelbullar. Best decision ever! But then, as we’re munching, I see this old lady trying to cross the street. She’s moving slower than molasses. I’m thinking, “C’mon, lady! We got places to be!” But she’s just taking her sweet time. I’m getting all impatient, and Nick’s like, “Maybe we should help her?” I’m like, “Nah, we’re not her personal Uber!” Finally, we get back in the car. I’m feeling a bit more zen, but Nick? Not so much. We hit up the roundabout at Vallentuna Centrum, and he’s still jittery. I’m like, “Just follow the signs, man!” But he’s overthinking it. We end up going in circles. I’m laughing, but inside, I’m like, “This is gonna be a long day.” Next up, we head to the outskirts, near Vallentuna Lake. Beautiful spot, right? But guess what? It starts pouring! I mean, like, monsoon-level rain. I’m trying to teach him how to handle the car in the rain, but he’s just panicking. “I can’t see! I can’t see!” I’m like, “Dude, it’s just water! You’re not gonna melt!” After what feels like an eternity, we finally get back to the school. I’m drenched, Nick’s a mess, but we survived! I’m thinking, “Man, I need a drink.” So I hit up my favorite pub on Värdshusgatan. I order a beer and just sit there, reflecting on the chaos. Then, outta nowhere, I see my buddy Lars. He’s like, “What’s up, man? You look like you’ve been through a war!” I’m like, “You have no idea!” We laugh about the day, and I’m just grateful it’s over. Vallentuna, you wild! So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, a bit of drama, and a whole lotta laughs. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
