OMG, what a day! So, I’m a stylist, right? And today was just... wow. I woke up in Dobje-pri-Planini, and let me tell ya, this place is a hidden gem. Like, who knew? It’s got these cute lil’ streets, like Cesta na Planino and Trg svobode. I mean, I love it here, but today? Ugh. First off, I had a client at 9 AM. Early, right? I’m not a morning person. Anyway, I’m rushing down Cesta na Planino, and I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed.” My coffee spills everywhere. I’m standing there, looking like a hot mess. Finally, I get to the salon. My client, let’s call her Maja, is already there. She’s late too, but whatever. We start chatting, and she’s like, “I want something bold!” I’m thinking, “Girl, you live in Dobje-pri-Planini, not Paris!” But hey, I’m all about that transformation life. So, we go for it. While I’m working on her hair, I hear this loud noise outside. I peek out the window on Ulica 1. maja, and there’s a parade! Like, seriously? A parade in the middle of a Tuesday? I’m half tempted to ditch Maja and join the fun. But no, I’m a pro. Gotta focus. Maja’s hair turns out fab, by the way. She’s all smiles, and I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, she drops the bomb. “I’m moving to Ljubljana next week.” WHAT?! I’m like, “Girl, you can’t leave me!” But she’s gotta go. Life, right? After that, I’m feeling kinda bummed. I decide to take a walk. I stroll down to the local bakery on Ulica 2. junija. Best pastries ever! I grab a kremšnita, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I see this guy. He’s just standing there, staring at me. I’m like, “Dude, what’s your deal?” He finally comes over and asks for styling tips. I’m flattered but also like, “Bro, I’m off duty!” So, I give him a few pointers, and he’s super grateful. I’m feeling good again. But then, I get a text from my friend. “Emergency! Need you!” I’m like, “What now?” Turns out, she’s stuck in traffic on the way to Dobje-pri-Planini. I’m like, “Girl, you’re literally 10 minutes away!” I rush back to the salon, and she finally shows up, all frazzled. We decide to hit up the local bar, Pivnica Planina. I need a drink after this crazy day. We sit outside, and I’m just venting about Maja and the parade and the guy. She’s laughing, and I’m like, “Why do I even do this?” But then, I look around. The sun’s setting over the hills, and it’s beautiful. I’m reminded why I love this place. Dobje-pri-Planini is quirky and charming. The people are real, and the vibes are chill. As we’re leaving, I spot a cute dog. I’m like, “Aww, look at that pup!” My friend rolls her eyes. “You and your dog obsession.” But I can’t help it! Dogs make everything better. So, yeah, my day was a rollercoaster. From spills to styling to unexpected parades, it was wild. But that’s life in Dobje-pri-Planini, I guess. Full of surprises, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a few less spills. But still!
