Man, what a day! I swear, Dravograd is a wild ride. I’m a car instructor, right? So, I’m used to the chaos, but today? Pffft, it was next level. Started off at the usual spot, you know, by the main square. The sun was shining, birds chirping, and I thought, “Hey, today’s gonna be chill.” LOL, was I wrong! First student, this dude named Marko, shows up late. Like, seriously? We’re in Dravograd, not some big city where you can just stroll in whenever. We hit the road, and I’m trying to teach him the basics. We’re cruising down Ulica 1. maja, and he’s all over the place. I’m like, “Dude, keep it straight!” But nah, he’s swerving like he’s dodging potholes. And let me tell ya, Dravograd’s got its fair share of those. I mean, I love this town, but the roads? They’re like a rollercoaster. Then, outta nowhere, this old lady on a bike zooms past us. I’m talking full-on Tour de France vibes. I’m yelling, “Watch out!” but Marko’s too busy staring at her like she’s some kinda alien. I’m like, “Focus, man! You’re driving a car, not a spaceship!” After that, we hit the roundabout by the Drava River. You know, the one that’s always packed? Yeah, that one. I’m trying to explain how to navigate it, and he’s just nodding like he gets it. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t. He goes in the wrong lane! I’m freaking out, “What are you doing?! You can’t just cut across!” Finally, we make it out alive. I’m sweating bullets, and Marko’s grinning like he just won the lottery. I’m like, “Dude, you almost gave me a heart attack!” But hey, at least he didn’t crash. Small victories, right? Next up, I get this girl, Ana. Sweet girl, but she’s got the attention span of a goldfish. We’re driving down Ulica Koroška, and she’s like, “Ooh, look at that café!” I’m like, “Focus on the road!” But nah, she’s already planning her coffee order. I mean, I get it, Dravograd’s got some killer spots, but c’mon! We pull up to the traffic lights at the main intersection, and I’m just praying for green. But nooo, it’s red. And guess who’s behind us? A bus. A freakin’ bus! I can feel the driver’s impatience. I’m like, “Ana, please don’t stall. Just go!” But she’s panicking. I’m about to lose it. Finally, the light turns green, and she takes off like a rocket. I’m holding on for dear life. We zoom past the old castle, and I’m thinking, “Wow, this place is beautiful.” But then, bam! She slams the brakes. I’m like, “What now?!” Turns out, she saw a cute dog. A DOG! I’m losing my mind. After that, I needed a break. So, I took a breather at the Drava River. Just sat there, watching the water flow. It’s peaceful, you know? But then, I see this kid trying to fish. He’s got a stick and a string. I’m like, “Dude, you’re not gonna catch anything with that!” But he’s all serious, like he’s some fishing pro. Then, I get a call from my boss. “Hey, we need you back for a group lesson.” Great, just what I needed. I rush back, and guess what? It starts pouring. I’m soaked, and the students are all huddled under the awning. I’m like, “Welcome to Dravograd, folks! Rain or shine, we drive!” The group lesson was a mess. Everyone’s slipping and sliding. I’m trying to keep it together, but it’s chaos. I’m yelling, “Brake! No, not that hard!” It’s like herding cats. But somehow, we survived. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I love Dravograd, but man, it can be a handful. I’m driving home, and I see the sunset over the hills. It’s beautiful. Makes all the craziness worth it. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of madness. Just another day in Dravograd, I guess!
