Man, what a day! I swear, if I had a dollar for every crazy thing that happened in Ig today, I’d be rich. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m cruising down Trg Kralja Petra. You know, the main square? It’s usually packed with people, but today? It was like a ghost town. I’m thinking, “Where is everyone?” Then I remember, it’s Monday. Ugh. Mondays, am I right? Anyway, I pull into my usual coffee spot on Ulica Kralja Aleksandra. Best coffee in town, no cap. I order my usual – a double espresso, extra shot. I need that caffeine fix, ya know? So, I’m waiting, and this dude walks in. He’s got a parrot on his shoulder. A PARROT! In Ig! I’m like, “Is this a thing now?” The parrot starts squawking, and I’m just trying to enjoy my coffee. The barista, bless her heart, is trying to keep it together. She’s laughing, and I’m like, “This is the highlight of my day.” But then, BAM! My phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “We need to talk about the project.” Oh great, just what I needed. I’m thinking, “Can’t a guy enjoy his coffee in peace?” So, I rush out, spill half my drink on Ulica Vuka Karadžića. Classic me. I get to the office, and it’s chaos. Papers everywhere, people running around like headless chickens. I’m like, “What happened here?” Turns out, someone forgot to send the presentation to the client. I’m fuming. Like, how hard is it to hit ‘send’? I mean, c’mon! So, I gather the team. We’re huddled in the conference room on Ulica Jovana Cvijića. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like a volcano ready to erupt. I’m pacing back and forth, and I can feel the tension. I’m like, “Guys, we need to fix this NOW!” Then, outta nowhere, my colleague, Marko, bursts in with a pizza. A PIZZA! I’m like, “Dude, we’re in crisis mode here!” But then I smell it. Pepperoni, cheese, the whole shebang. My stomach growls. I’m torn between being mad and being hungry. So, I grab a slice. Priorities, right? After the pizza break, we finally pull it together. We send the presentation, and I’m feeling a bit better. But then, I get a call from my mom. She’s like, “You forgot to call me!” I’m like, “Mom, I’m busy!” But she’s relentless. “You never have time for your mother!” Guilt trip central. Finally, the day winds down. I’m walking back through Trg Kralja Petra, and it’s lit. The sun’s setting, and the whole place is glowing. I see the street performers, and I stop to watch. There’s this guy juggling flaming torches. I’m like, “This is what life’s about!” I head home, exhausted but somehow happy. Ig has this way of surprising you, ya know? One minute you’re stressed, and the next, you’re laughing at a parrot or juggling flames. It’s wild. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life in Ig. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
