Man, what a day! I swear, being a vet in Kobilje is like riding a rollercoaster with no seatbelt. So, I roll into the clinic on Ulica 1. Maj, right? It’s a sunny morning, birds chirping, and I’m thinking, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I get a call from this frantic lady. Her cat, Mr. Whiskers, ate a whole pack of chocolate. Like, who lets their cat near chocolate? I mean, c’mon! Anyway, I rush over to her place on Ulica 2. Maj. I’m dodging potholes like I’m in a video game. Kobilje’s roads are a whole vibe, let me tell ya. I get there, and Mr. Whiskers is just lounging like he’s on a beach vacation. I’m like, “Dude, you’re about to ruin your life!” So, I do my vet thing, and after some drama, he’s fine. But the lady? She’s crying like she just lost a football match. I’m like, “Chill, he’s gonna be okay!” But you know how it is. Then, I head back to the clinic, and guess what? My assistant, Luka, spills a whole jar of dog treats on the floor. It’s raining treats! Dogs are going nuts! I’m laughing, but also, I’m like, “Luka, what are you doing, man?” He just shrugs. Classic Luka. Next, I get a call about a dog stuck in a fence on Ulica 3. Maj. I’m thinking, “Great, just what I need.” So, I grab my gear and head out. When I get there, it’s a golden retriever, all tangled up. I’m trying to be calm, but inside, I’m like, “Why do dogs always do this?” Finally, I free the pup, and he’s so happy! Tail wagging like crazy. I’m feeling like a hero, right? But then, the owner shows up, and he’s this grumpy old dude. He starts yelling at me for not being there sooner. I’m like, “Dude, I’m not a magician!” After that, I need a break. So, I hit up my favorite café on Ulica 4. Maj. I order a coffee, and the barista, Ana, knows my order by heart. She’s like, “Rough day?” I’m like, “You have no idea.” We laugh, and for a moment, everything feels normal again. But then, my phone buzzes. Another emergency! A parrot with a broken wing. Seriously? I’m thinking, “What’s next, a hamster with a hangover?” I rush to the owner’s place, and it’s chaos. The parrot is squawking like it’s auditioning for a rock band. I fix the wing, and the owner is so grateful. She offers me a slice of her homemade strudel. I’m like, “Heck yes!” Best strudel ever. Kobilje has the best food, no doubt. Finally, I get back to the clinic, and it’s closing time. I’m exhausted but happy. I think about all the crazy stuff that happened today. Kobilje is wild, but it’s home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another Tuesday in Kobilje, where every moment is an adventure. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
