Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a glazier in Krsko is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First stop, I’m on Trg svobode, grabbin’ my morning coffee. You know, the good stuff from that little café, Caffe Bar Krsko. I’m sippin’ my espresso, and boom! This dude walks in, spills his drink all over the counter. I’m like, “Bro, it’s not a slip-n-slide!” Everyone’s laughin’, and I’m just tryin’ to enjoy my caffeine fix. After that, I head to a job on Ulica 1. maja. Nice little house, but the glass? Total disaster. I mean, who puts a window in a place where a tree can just, like, reach out and smack it? I’m up on the ladder, and I swear, I’m channeling my inner acrobat. One wrong move, and I’m takin’ a dive. But hey, I’m a pro, right? So, I’m cuttin’ the glass, and suddenly, I hear this loud crash. I look over, and it’s a bunch of kids playin’ soccer. They kicked the ball right into a parked car. I’m like, “Oh man, that’s gonna be a fun convo.” The car owner comes out, all red-faced, and starts yellin’. Kids scatter like roaches when the lights come on. Classic Krsko chaos! Finally, I finish the job, and I’m feelin’ good. I’m like, “Yeah, nailed it!” But then, I realize I left my tools at the last site. Ugh! So, I’m sprinting back down Ulica Ljubljanska, dodging people like I’m in some kinda video game. I’m sweating bullets, and my mind’s racing. “Why do I always forget stuff?” On my way back, I pass by the old Krsko Castle. Man, that place is a beauty! I stop for a sec, just to take it in. It’s like, “Hey, history, what’s up?” But then, I hear this loud honk. Some guy in a car is givin’ me the stink eye. I’m like, “Chill, dude! I’m just admiring the view!” Finally, I grab my tools and head back to the shop. I’m exhausted, but I can’t stop thinkin’ about dinner. I’m craving some good old štruklji. You know, the ones from that little place on Ulica Kmečka? They’re to die for! But wait, there’s more! I get a call from a client. “Hey, can you fix my window? It’s broken!” I’m like, “Sure, when?” And they say, “Right now!” I’m thinkin’, “Dude, I just wanna eat!” But I can’t say no. So, I head over to their place, and guess what? It’s on the other side of town, near the train station. I get there, and the window’s a mess. I’m talkin’ shattered glass everywhere. I’m tryin’ to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Why me?” I start cleanin’ up, and this cat just strolls in. I’m like, “Really? You gotta be kidding me!” The cat’s just chillin’, like it owns the place. After what feels like forever, I finally finish. I’m covered in dust and glass shards, but hey, the window looks good! I’m ready to head home, but then I see the sunset over the Savinja River. It’s gorgeous! I take a moment to breathe it all in. Krsko, you’re a wild ride, but I love ya. So, I finally get home, and I’m beat. But I can’t stop laughin’ about the day. Krsko’s got its quirks, but that’s what makes it home. I crash on the couch, dreaming of štruklji and tomorrow’s adventures. What a day, huh?
