Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. Leskova-Dolina, you wild beast! I woke up this mornin’ to the sound of my neighbor’s cat screeching like it was auditioning for a horror flick. Like, chill, dude! It’s just a cat, not a rock concert on Ulica Kralja Tomislava. So, I grab my coffee from that tiny café on Ulica Vojvode Stepe. You know the one? The barista there is a total legend. He makes the best cappuccino, but today? He spills it all over the counter. I’m like, “Bro, I need that caffeine!” But he just laughs it off. I mean, who needs coffee when you can have a comedy show, right? After that, I head to the studio. Ugh, the traffic on Ulica 7. Jula was a nightmare! I swear, I saw a guy on a bike trying to race a bus. Spoiler alert: the bus won. I was stuck in my car, just fuming. Like, why do people think they can just cut in line? It’s not a buffet, man! Finally, I get to the studio. It’s a small place, but it’s got character. The walls are plastered with posters of old bands. I love it. But today, my session was a mess. The artist I was working with, let’s call him “Mr. Drama,” couldn’t decide on a single note. I’m sittin’ there, listening to him go back and forth like he’s in a tennis match. “No, I don’t like that!” “Try it again!” I’m like, “Dude, we’re not here to play ‘Guess That Tune.’” Then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. Just poof! Darkness. I’m thinkin’, “Great, now I’m stuck in a pitch-black room with Mr. Drama.” I can’t even see my hand in front of my face! But then, I hear this voice from the corner. It’s the janitor, and he’s singing! Like, full-on opera style. I’m cracking up. Who knew the janitor had pipes like that? After the power comes back, we finally get a take. It’s not perfect, but it’s something. I’m feelin’ a bit proud, ya know? But then, I step outside, and it’s pouring rain. Of course! Just my luck. I’m sprinting down Ulica 7. Jula, dodging puddles like I’m in some weird obstacle course. I’m soaked, but I can’t stop laughing. I decide to hit up that little bar on Ulica Kralja Tomislava. You know the one with the neon lights? I need a drink after that chaos. I order a beer, and the bartender, bless her soul, gives me a free shot. I’m like, “Is this a reward for surviving the day?” She just winks. As I’m chillin’ there, I overhear this couple arguing about the best place to eat in Leskova-Dolina. One’s all about that local pizzeria, and the other’s like, “Nah, the kebab place is where it’s at!” I’m just sitting there, thinking, “Guys, it’s all good! Just eat!” The night wraps up, and I’m walking home, still buzzing from the beer and the craziness. Leskova-Dolina is lit, man! The streets are alive, and I can’t help but smile. I pass by the old fountain on Trg Slobode, and it’s all lit up. It’s beautiful. I stop for a sec, just taking it all in. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, laughter and chaos. Leskova-Dolina, you never fail to surprise me. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
