Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, Lucija really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I’m headin’ down Ulica 1. maja, and I’m already late. Classic me. I’m rushin’ past the bakery, and the smell of fresh bread hits me like a freight train. I’m like, “Dude, I need that in my life.” But no time! Gotta get to the shearing gig at the farm near the marina. So, I hop on my bike, and let me tell ya, the streets are wild. Ulica Obala is packed with tourists. I swear, they’re all takin’ selfies like they’re in a freakin’ fashion show. I almost crash into a couple of ‘em. Like, c’mon, people! Look where you’re walkin’! Finally, I get to the farm, and it’s chaos. Sheep everywhere. I mean, I love sheep, but this is a whole new level. They’re bleatin’ like they’re auditioning for a choir. I’m tryin’ to focus, but my buddy Mark shows up, and he’s got this ridiculous hat on. I can’t even. I’m laughin’ so hard, I almost drop my shears. Then, outta nowhere, this one sheep decides it’s gonna make a break for it. I’m chasin’ it down Ulica Vela, and I’m thinkin’, “This is not how I pictured my day.” I finally catch it, but not before I trip over a rock and land face-first in the dirt. Great. Just great. After that little adventure, I finally get to shear some sheep. It’s kinda therapeutic, ya know? Just me, the sheep, and the sound of the shears. But then, I notice the sky’s gettin’ dark. Like, really dark. I’m thinkin’, “Please don’t rain. Not today.” And then it happens. The heavens open up. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m like, “Seriously?!” I’m tryin’ to finish up, but the sheep are not havin’ it. They’re jumpin’ around like they’re in a dance-off. I’m just tryin’ to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like a volcano ready to blow. Finally, I wrap up, and I’m drenched, but I’m feelin’ accomplished. I head back to the city, and I’m thinkin’ about that bakery again. I swing by, grab a loaf, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. I’m munchin’ on it while walkin’ down Ulica 1. maja again, and I see this street performer. He’s playin’ the accordion, and it’s actually kinda nice. I stop, toss him a couple of coins, and he gives me a nod. I’m feelin’ good, ya know? But then, I see a group of tourists again, and they’re lost. I can’t help it. I walk over and say, “You guys lookin’ for the beach? It’s that way.” They thank me like I just saved their lives. I’m like, “Dude, it’s just the beach.” As I’m headin’ home, I can’t help but laugh at the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. Lucija, you crazy! You’ve got me runnin’ after sheep, gettin’ soaked, and eatin’ the best bread ever. What a wild ride. I finally crash on my couch, exhausted but happy. I’m thinkin’ about tomorrow. Who knows what’ll happen? But one thing’s for sure: Lucija, you’re never boring!
