Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a glazier in Nova-Vas (si) is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on Vasiliev Street. I’m like, “Great, another day of cuttin’ glass and dodgin’ pigeons.” First stop, the job site on Petrov Avenue. I roll up, and it’s chaos. I mean, like, full-on circus mode. The client, this dude named Igor, is freakin’ out. He’s got this massive window that’s shattered. I’m talkin’ shards everywhere. I’m like, “Dude, how’d you even manage that?” Turns out, his cat, Whiskers, decided to play ninja. Classic. So, I get to work, right? I’m measuring, cuttin’, and tryin’ not to slice my fingers off. But then, outta nowhere, this old lady walks by. She’s like, “Hey, you! You’re gonna fix that, right?” I’m like, “Uh, yeah, that’s the plan, lady.” She gives me this look like I just insulted her grandma. I mean, c’mon! I’m a glazier, not a magician! Anyway, I finally get the new glass in. It’s lookin’ sharp, like a fresh haircut. I’m feelin’ good, right? But then, bam! A freakin’ storm rolls in. I’m talkin’ thunder, lightning, the whole shebang. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed.” I’m tryin’ to secure the window, and the wind’s like, “Nah, bro, not today.” I’m soaked, my tools are slippin’, and I’m yellin’ at the sky like it’s my ex. “Why you gotta do me like this?” But then, outta nowhere, this kid on a bike zooms by. He’s shoutin’, “You’re the best, mister!” I’m like, “Aww, thanks, kid!” It’s like a little ray of sunshine in my stormy day. After the storm passes, I head over to the café on Lermontov Street. I need a break, man. I grab a coffee, and the barista, this cool dude named Sasha, is like, “You look like you’ve been through a war.” I laugh, “You have no idea, bro.” We chat about the wild weather and how Nova-Vas (si) is always full of surprises. Then, I get a call. It’s Igor again. “The window! It’s leaking!” I’m like, “Seriously, dude?!” I rush back, and sure enough, there’s water pouring in. I’m ready to lose it. I’m thinkin’, “Why can’t I just have one normal day?” I fix the leak, but now I’m late for my buddy’s gig at the club on Gorky Street. I sprint over, and the place is packed. My buddy’s up there rockin’ it, and I’m just standin’ there, drenched and exhausted. But then, he spots me and gives me a shout-out. “Yo, my glazier friend! You made it!” I’m feelin’ like a rockstar, even though I smell like wet dog. The crowd’s hyped, and I’m just vibin’. I forget about the crazy day. Nova-Vas (si) has this energy, ya know? The streets are alive, the people are wild, and even when it’s a mess, it’s home. By the end of the night, I’m laughin’ with my buddies, drinkin’ cheap beer, and just grateful. Sure, I had a rough day, but that’s life, right? You roll with the punches, and sometimes, you get a little sunshine after the storm. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Nova-Vas (si). Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
