Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in Prevalje, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on Trg svobode. You know, the one with the best coffee? I grab my usual – a double espresso, because, duh, I need that caffeine fix. But guess what? They ran out of beans! Like, how do you run out of coffee beans? I mean, c’mon! I was ready to throw a fit. But I just laughed it off. I mean, it’s Prevalje, right? Gotta keep it cool. Then, I had a meeting with this client. Let’s call him “Mr. Grumpy.” He’s always complaining about his investments. I mean, dude, it’s the market! It goes up, it goes down. But today, he was extra cranky. We met at his office on Cesta 1. maja. He starts ranting about how he lost money on some stocks. I’m like, “Bro, it’s not the end of the world!” But he just keeps going. I swear, I could feel my hair turning gray. After that, I needed a breather. So, I strolled down to the Prevalje River. It’s so pretty there, especially in the spring. The flowers are blooming, and the water’s sparkling. I took a deep breath, trying to chill. But then, outta nowhere, this kid on a bike zooms past me and splashes water all over my shoes! Ugh! I was like, “Really, kid?!” But then I just laughed. It was kinda funny, I guess. Next, I had to run to the bank on Ulica 4. julija. You know how banks are – always a line. I’m standing there, tapping my foot, thinking about how I could be enjoying a nice cold beer instead. Finally, I get to the teller, and she’s super nice. But then, she tells me I need more documents for a loan I’m helping a client with. Are you kidding me? I had everything ready! I just wanted to scream, but I kept it together. By now, I’m starving. So, I hit up this little place on Ulica Koroška. They have the best štruklji. I order a plate, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just sitting there, trying to enjoy my food, and they’re going at it. I mean, c’mon, guys! Not the place for that! But it was kinda entertaining, I’ll admit. Finally, I get back to my office, and I’m like, “Okay, let’s wrap this day up.” But nooo, my phone starts blowing up. Clients calling, emails pinging. It’s like I’m a freaking therapist now! “Oh, you lost money? Let’s talk about your feelings.” I mean, I love my job, but sometimes it’s just too much. As the day winds down, I take a moment to look out the window. The view of the hills around Prevalje is stunning. I think about how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place. Even with all the craziness, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day in Prevalje. Full of ups and downs, splashes and grumps. But hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
