Man, what a day! Seriously, Radece is wild. I mean, I thought I knew this place, but today? Pffft, it threw me for a loop. So, I roll outta bed, right? It’s like 7 AM, and I’m already late for my shift. I’m an operator, ya know? Gotta keep things running smooth. But first, coffee! I hit up that little café on Trg svobode. Best coffee in town, no cap. I grab my usual, a double espresso, and spill half of it on my shirt. Great start, right? I’m hustlin’ down Ulica 1. maja, dodging potholes like I’m in a video game. Radece’s streets are like a minefield. Seriously, who needs a gym when you can just walk here? Anyway, I finally get to the office, and it’s chaos. Phones ringing off the hook. I’m talkin’ like a hundred calls a minute. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Marko bursts in. He’s all like, “Dude, you won’t believe this!” I’m thinkin’, what now? Turns out, there’s a goat on the loose on Ulica Koroška. A goat! Just chillin’ in the middle of the street. I can’t even. So, of course, I gotta go check it out. I step outside, and there it is. This goat is just munchin’ on some grass like it owns the place. People are takin’ pics, laughin’, and I’m just standin’ there like, “Is this real life?” I mean, who lets their goat roam free in Radece? After the goat drama, I head back to the office. But wait, there’s more! I get a call about a water main break on Ulica Mariborska. Great, just what I needed. So, I grab my gear and head over. The street’s flooded, and I’m knee-deep in water. I’m like, “This is not in my job description!” But then, I see this little kid splashing around, havin’ the time of his life. He looks up at me and grins. I can’t help but laugh. Kids, man. They find joy in the weirdest places. Finally, I get the water situation sorted. I’m soaked, but whatever. I head back to the office, and it’s like 3 PM. I’m exhausted. But then, my boss walks in with pizza. Yes! Free food! Turns out, it’s to celebrate our team’s hard work. I’m like, “You know what? Today wasn’t so bad after all.” As I’m munchin’ on my slice, I think about Radece. It’s quirky, it’s chaotic, but it’s home. From the old buildings on Ulica Cankarjeva to the park by the river, there’s something special about this place. So, yeah, today was a rollercoaster. I laughed, I got mad, I got soaked, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Radece, you crazy, but I love ya!
