Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a shepherd ain’t just about chillin’ with sheep. Nah, today was wild. So, I’m in Razkrizje, right? This little gem of a town, nestled in Slovenia. You know, the kinda place where everyone knows everyone, and the streets have more stories than the people. I woke up early, like, way too early. The sun was barely up, and I was already out on the fields. But then, I thought, “Hey, let’s hit the city today.” I mean, I needed a break from the sheep. They can be real drama queens, I swear. So, I packed my bag, grabbed some bread and cheese, and off I went. First stop? The main square, Trg svobode. It’s always buzzing. I swear, if you stand there long enough, you’ll see every character in town. Old Mr. Novak was there, selling his homemade honey. I bought a jar, but he tried to charge me double! I was like, “C’mon, man! I’m not made of money!” But he just laughed. Classic Novak. Then I strolled down Ulica 1. maja. It’s a nice street, lined with cafes and shops. I popped into this little bakery. Oh man, the smell! Fresh pastries everywhere. I got a kremšnita. You know, the cream cake? It was heavenly! I almost cried. But then, I dropped it. Yup, right on the ground. I was so mad! Like, why does life do this to me? After that disaster, I wandered over to the park by the river. The Sava River, it’s beautiful. I sat on a bench, just chillin’. Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a dog. The dog jumps into the river! I’m like, “Dude, what are you doing?” But the kid just laughs. I mean, who lets their dog swim in October? Crazy! Then I met up with my buddy, Luka. He’s a mechanic, always fixing something. We grabbed a beer at a pub on Ulica Kranjska. We talked about everything. Life, sheep, girls. You know, the usual. He told me about this girl he likes. I told him to just go for it! But he’s all shy. Typical Luka. But then, the day took a turn. We heard this commotion outside. Turns out, there was a street performer doing some crazy tricks. I mean, this guy was juggling fire! I was like, “What the heck?!” But then, he dropped a flaming torch. Fire everywhere! People were screaming, and I was just standing there, mouth open. It was like a scene from a movie. After the chaos, I needed to calm down. So, we headed to the old church, Cerkev sv. Jakoba. It’s peaceful there. I sat on the steps, just thinking. Life’s weird, ya know? One minute you’re eating cake, the next you’re dodging fire. As the sun set, I made my way back home. The streets were quieter now. I passed by the old fountain on Trg svobode again. It’s funny how a day can be so full of ups and downs. I felt happy, angry, surprised—all at once. When I finally got home, the sheep were waiting for me. They looked at me like, “Where you been?” I just laughed. “You wouldn’t believe it!” So yeah, that was my day in Razkrizje. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in the life of a shepherd, I guess.
