Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a librarian in Sv.-Ana-v-Slov.-Goricah, right? And lemme tell ya, today was a rollercoaster. First off, I woke up late. Like, super late. My alarm? Totally ignored it. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. I mean, who needs matching socks anyway? Not me! Rushed outta my tiny apartment on Ulica Mariborska, barely had time for coffee. Ugh, coffee! My lifeblood! So, I’m sprinting down the street, dodging pigeons like I’m in some weird video game. I pass by the park on Ulica Koroška, and it’s packed. Kids are screaming, dogs are barking, and I’m just trying to get to work. I swear, if one more kid runs in front of me, I’m gonna lose it! Finally, I get to the library. It’s a cozy little spot, you know? But today? Today was chaos. The moment I walk in, I see a group of kids from the local school. They’re LOUD. Like, why do they have to be so loud? I mean, it’s a library, not a concert! I try to shush them, but they just laugh. Little monsters! I mean, I love kids, but c’mon! I’m here to help people find books, not referee a wrestling match. Then, outta nowhere, my boss, Mrs. Novak, comes in. She’s all about the rules. “Keep it quiet!” she says. I’m like, “Yeah, no kidding!” But she’s got this look in her eyes. You know the one. The “I’m about to drop some serious news” look. Turns out, we’re getting a new section! A whole area for local authors. I’m pumped! I mean, Sv.-Ana-v-Slov.-Goricah has some amazing talent. I can’t wait to showcase them. But then, she says we gotta clear out some old books. Ugh, the horror! I spent the next hour sorting through dusty old tomes. Some of these books? Like, who even reads them? “The History of Paperclips”? Really? But then, I found this gem. A book about the history of our town! I was like, “YES! This is what I’m talking about!” After that, I took a break. Needed to clear my head. So, I stepped outside. The sun was shining, and I walked down Ulica Trg svobode. It’s beautiful there, with all the flowers blooming. I took a deep breath. Life is good, right? But then, I saw it. A giant billboard advertising some new coffee shop. “Best coffee in town!” it said. I was like, “Challenge accepted!” So, I headed over. The place was packed. I waited in line forever. Finally, I got my coffee. And let me tell ya, it was worth it! I took a sip, and it was like heaven in a cup. I was on cloud nine. But then, I got back to the library, and guess what? The kids were still there! I was like, “Seriously?!” I tried to be patient, but my patience was wearing thin. Then, a lady walks in. She’s looking for a book on gardening. I’m like, “Sure, I can help!” But she starts asking me all these questions. “What’s the best soil?” “How much sunlight?” I’m like, “Lady, I’m a librarian, not a gardener!” Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted. I lock up the library and head home. As I walk back, I think about how crazy today was. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Sv.-Ana-v-Slov.-Goricah is my home. The streets, the people, the chaos—it’s all part of the charm. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. But for now, I’m just gonna crash. Goodnight, world!
