Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Vuzenica, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I grab my coffee from that little café on Trg svobode. You know the one? The barista there is a legend. I swear, he makes the best cappuccino in the whole of Slovenia. But today? He spills half of it on me! Like, dude, I’m not a coffee sponge! I’m standing there, soaked in caffeine, and I’m just like, “Great start, right?” So, I’m walking down Cesta 1. maja, trying to shake off the coffee disaster. I’m thinking about my clients. You know, the usual mix of high schoolers and their confused parents. I mean, who wouldn’t be confused? It’s like, “What do you wanna be when you grow up?” and they’re like, “Uhh, I dunno.” Classic. Then, outta nowhere, I bump into this kid, Luka. He’s like, “Hey, you’re that orientation guy!” I’m like, “Yeah, that’s me!” And he’s all excited, telling me he wants to be a professional gamer. I’m like, “Dude, go for it!” But then I remember my own parents’ faces when I said I wanted to be a ‘professional anything’—not exactly supportive, ya know? Anyway, I’m walking down through the park by the Drava River. It’s beautiful there, but today? It’s packed! Families, kids, dogs everywhere. I’m dodging frisbees and strollers like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. And then, I see this old guy feeding the ducks. He’s got this whole bag of bread, and I’m thinking, “Man, those ducks are living the life.” But then, he trips! Bread goes flying everywhere! Ducks are going nuts! It was hilarious, but also kinda sad. I mean, poor guy. After that, I head over to the high school on Ulica 4. julija. I’m supposed to give a talk about career paths. I’m pumped, right? But when I get there, the principal tells me the kids are on a field trip. I’m like, “Seriously?!” So, I just end up chatting with the teachers instead. They’re cool, but I was ready to inspire some future legends, not talk about lesson plans. Then, I decide to grab lunch at that little pizzeria on Ulica Mariborska. Best pizza ever! I order a slice, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m trying to enjoy my pizza, but they’re just going at it. I’m thinking, “Dude, take it somewhere else!” But then, the guy storms out, and the girl just sits there, crying. Ugh, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions today! Finally, I head back to my office on Ulica Koroška. I’m exhausted, but I’ve got a couple of clients coming in. One’s a girl named Maja. She’s super sweet but totally stressed about college applications. I try to calm her down, but she’s like, “What if I don’t get in?” I’m like, “Chill, you got this!” But inside, I’m thinking, “Man, I hope she gets in.” By the end of the day, I’m just done. I walk home through the streets of Vuzenica, and I can’t help but smile. This city, with its quirks and surprises, always keeps me on my toes. I mean, who knew a day could be so wild? So, yeah, that was my day. Full of coffee spills, duck drama, and emotional rollercoasters. Just another day in Vuzenica, I guess!
