Man, what a day! I swear, Kosice is wild. I’m a shooter, right? Security, keeping the peace. But today? Pffft, it was like a movie. So, I roll outta bed, grab my coffee from that little spot on Hlavná ulica. You know the one? Best brew in town. I’m chugging it down, thinking, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Yeah, right. First stop, the old town square. It’s buzzing. Tourists everywhere, snapping pics of St. Elisabeth’s Cathedral. I mean, it’s a beauty, but c’mon, people! Watch where you’re walking! Almost tripped over some dude’s selfie stick. Like, bro, get a grip! Then, outta nowhere, I hear shouting. I look over by the fountain. Some guy’s losing it. Yelling about something. I can’t even hear him over the sound of the water. I’m thinking, “Dude, chill. It’s just a fountain.” But nah, he’s going off. Turns out, he lost his wallet. Classic. I step in, do my thing. “Hey man, breathe. We’ll find it.” I’m trying to be all calm and collected, but inside, I’m like, “Why is this my life?” After that, I head down to the Mlynská ulica. It’s quieter there, thank goodness. I’m just about to grab a snack when I see this group of kids. They’re playing football, right in the street. I’m like, “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” But then, I see one of ‘em score a goal. I can’t help but smile. Kids are the best. But then, bam! A car comes zooming by. I’m yelling, “Watch out!” The kids scatter like roaches when the lights come on. Heart’s racing. I’m thinking, “What’s wrong with people?” Finally, I get to the park by the Jakab’s Palace. It’s nice there, you know? Trees, birds, the whole vibe. I sit down, take a breather. But then, I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting match. I’m just trying to enjoy my peace, man! I’m thinking, “Love is dead, huh?” But then, they start laughing. What? They were just messing around. I’m like, “Okay, that’s kinda cute.” Then, outta nowhere, I get a call. Some incident at the train station. Great. Just what I need. I rush over, and it’s chaos. People everywhere, some dude’s causing a scene. I’m like, “Not today, buddy.” I step in, do my thing. “Hey, let’s calm down.” But he’s not having it. I’m thinking, “This guy’s got guts.” But then, he just walks away. Like, really? All that fuss for nothing? By the time I’m done, I’m exhausted. I head back to Hlavná ulica. Grab a slice of pizza from that place near the theater. Best decision ever. I’m munching, thinking about the day. Kosice, man. It’s got its ups and downs. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s my city. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just like me. So, yeah. That was my day. Just another day in Kosice.
