Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness in Stara-Lubovna. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. Classic. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find, and bolted out the door. I mean, who needs breakfast, right? Not me! First stop, the main square, Námestie SNP. It’s always buzzing with life. I swear, if you wanna see the heart of Stara-Lubovna, this is it. I’m strolling through, and bam! I bump into my buddy, Jozef. He’s always got some wild story. Today? He’s convinced he saw a UFO over the castle. Like, dude, really? A UFO? In Stara-Lubovna? I laughed so hard, I almost choked on my coffee. Speaking of the castle, I had to check it out. The view from up there is insane! You can see the whole town, the Tatra mountains in the background. Just breathtaking. But then, I got this wild idea. I thought, “Hey, let’s take a selfie!” So, I’m up there, posing like a total goofball, and my phone slips! Ugh! It’s like, “Really, phone? You wanna take a dive now?” Luckily, it survived. Phew! After that, I decided to hit up the local market on Hlavná ulica. Man, the smells! Fresh bread, pastries, and oh, the cheese! I’m telling ya, if you haven’t tried the local bryndza, you’re missing out. I grabbed a few goodies, but then I saw this old lady selling flowers. She had the most beautiful sunflowers. I couldn’t resist. I bought one, and she gave me this huge smile. Made my day, honestly. But then, the mood shifted. I was walking down Špitálska street, and I saw this guy yelling at his dog. Like, c’mon dude, it’s a dog! Chill out! I was ready to step in, but then I thought, “Nah, not my circus, not my monkeys.” So, I just kept walking, shaking my head. Next, I hit up a café on Mierová ulica. I needed a break. Ordered a cappuccino, and guess what? They messed it up! I mean, how hard is it to make a coffee? I was so annoyed. But then, I saw this cute little kid drawing with chalk outside. He was so into it, totally lost in his world. Made me smile again. Kids have that magic, ya know? Then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! I mean, like, torrential downpour. I ducked into a shop on the corner of Jozefa Murgasa. The owner was super chill, and we ended up chatting about the weather. He said it’s typical for Stara-Lubovna. “One minute sun, next minute rain,” he said. So true! Finally, I decided to head home. I was soaked, but I didn’t care. I was buzzing from all the stuff that happened. I mean, who knew a day in Stara-Lubovna could be so wild? As I walked back, I thought about how much I love this place. The streets, the people, the little quirks. It’s not perfect, but it’s home. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Crazy, emotional, and totally unforgettable. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
