Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a swineherd in Stupava is no joke. I woke up this mornin’ thinkin’ it’d be just another chill day with my pigs. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Stupava, right? I’m walkin’ down Hlavná ulica, and it’s like a freakin’ parade of chaos. People everywhere, cars honkin’, and I’m just tryin’ to get my morning coffee. You know how it is. I’m like, “C’mon, I just wanna sip my brew and chill with my swine.” But nooo, the barista at the café on the corner was takin’ her sweet time. I swear, I could’ve raised a whole herd of pigs in the time it took her to make my espresso. Finally, I get my coffee, and I’m feelin’ good. But then, BAM! I see this dude on the street, right? He’s tryin’ to sell some weird trinkets. Like, who buys that stuff? I mean, I love Stupava, but c’mon, man. I’m not buyin’ a ceramic pig when I’ve got real ones at home! I laughed so hard, I almost spilled my coffee. So, I head over to the park by the river, you know, the one near the Stupava Castle ruins? It’s a nice spot. I sit down, take a sip, and just chill. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, kickin’ a ball, and WHAM! The ball hits my leg. I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But the kid just laughs and runs off. I mean, really? Kids these days have no respect for swineherds! After that, I decide to check on my pigs. They’re at the edge of town, near the old railway station. I’m walkin’ down the dirt road, and I see my buddy, Jozef. He’s always got some wild story. Today, he’s tellin’ me about this time he tried to catch a pig that escaped. He said it was like a scene from a movie. I’m laughin’ so hard, I almost forget about my own pigs. But then, I get to the pen, and guess what? One of my pigs, Mária, is missing! I freak out. I’m runnin’ around like a madman, shoutin’ her name. “Mária! Where are you?” I’m thinkin’ she’s off livin’ her best life, probably at the bakery on Špitálska, munchin’ on pastries. I finally find her chillin’ by the river, just loungin’ like she owns the place. I’m like, “Girl, you can’t just wander off!” But honestly, I can’t blame her. Stupava’s got that vibe, you know? The river’s nice, the air’s fresh, and the views are killer. After wranglin’ Mária back home, I’m feelin’ a mix of relief and exhaustion. I head to the local pub, U Bieleho Kola, to grab a drink. I sit down, and the bartender, he’s a good guy, starts tellin’ me about this festival comin’ up. Apparently, they’re gonna have live music and food stalls. I’m like, “Count me in!” But then, I overhear this couple at the next table. They’re complainin’ about the noise from the festival. I’m thinkin’, “C’mon, it’s a festival! Lighten up!” I mean, who doesn’t love a good party? As the sun sets, I’m walkin’ home, thinkin’ about my crazy day. Stupava’s got its quirks, but it’s home. I love the chaos, the people, the pigs. It’s all part of the ride. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild adventure in Stupava. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
