Wow, what a day in Trstena! Seriously, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the streets of Trstena, and let me tell ya, the vibe is always buzzing. I’m strolling down Hlavná ulica, coffee in hand, feeling like a boss. But then, BAM! I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me. I spill my coffee all over my favorite shirt. Great start, huh? I’m standing there, looking like a walking coffee stain, and I’m just like, “Really, universe?” Anyway, I shake it off and head to the local bakery on Námestie. You know, the one with the best koláče? I’m dreaming of those sweet pastries. But guess what? They’re out! Like, how do you run out of koláče? I’m fuming. I mean, come on, it’s not rocket science! I settle for a dry roll. Ugh. So, I’m wandering around, trying to salvage my day. I decide to check out the Trstena Castle. It’s this cool old place, right? But when I get there, it’s closed for renovations. Of course! Just my luck. I’m standing outside, staring at the walls, thinking, “Why do I even bother?” Then, I hear this loud commotion. Turns out, there’s a street performer on Špitálska ulica. This guy is juggling flaming torches! I’m like, “Whoa, this is gonna be epic!” But then, he drops one. Fire everywhere! People are screaming, and I’m just standing there, half-laughing, half-panicking. It’s like a scene from a movie. After that chaos, I decide to grab some lunch. I hit up this little joint on Mierová ulica. The food’s decent, but the waiter? Total grump. I order a burger, and he rolls his eyes like I just asked for a unicorn. Chill, dude! It’s just a burger! So, I’m eating my sad little meal when I overhear this couple arguing at the next table. They’re going at it, and I’m just trying to enjoy my fries. I mean, c’mon, Trstena is supposed to be romantic, right? Not a reality show! Finally, I finish up and head to the park by the river. It’s beautiful there, with the trees and the water. I sit down, take a deep breath, and think, “Okay, maybe this day isn’t a total disaster.” But then, out of nowhere, a pigeon lands on my head. Like, really? I’m just trying to chill! As I’m swatting the bird away, I see this little kid running around with a kite. He’s laughing, and it hits me. Life’s too short to be mad about coffee spills and grumpy waiters. I start laughing, and the kid looks at me like I’m a weirdo. But whatever, I’m embracing the chaos! By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but kinda happy. Trstena, you wild city, you’ve got my heart. Even with all the craziness, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I mean, where else can you trip over cobblestones, dodge flaming torches, and get pooped on by a pigeon all in one day? So, yeah, that was my day. Just another adventure in Trstena. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
