Man, what a day! Keelung, you wild beast! I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day in this crazy port city. But nah, Keelung had other plans. First off, I hit up the famous Keelung Night Market. I mean, who can resist those stinky tofu stalls? Not me! I was ready to chow down. But guess what? I got there too early. Like, who opens a night market at 10 AM? Ugh! So, I just wandered around, checking out the streets. Zhongzheng Rd. was buzzing, but I was hangry. Then, I stumbled upon this cute little café on Jhongjheng Rd. I thought, “Why not grab a coffee?” So I did. The barista was super chill, but the coffee? It was like drinking liquid sadness. I mean, c’mon! I need caffeine, not a reminder of my life choices! After that, I decided to hit the coast. The view from the Keelung Harbor? Breathtaking! But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and steals my snack! Like, dude, I’m not sharing! I was ready to throw hands with a bird. So, I walked along the waterfront, trying to calm down. The waves crashing against the rocks were kinda soothing. I thought about life, you know? Like, why do I even do this job? But then I saw the lighthouse at Heping Island. It was so pretty! I snapped a pic, thinking, “This is Instagram gold!” But then, bam! My phone dies. Just like that. I was like, “Great, now I’m lost and can’t even call for help.” Classic! So, I wandered around, trying to find my way back. I ended up on a random street, and guess what? I found a street vendor selling bubble tea! Yes! Sweet, sweet victory! I got a taro milk tea, and it was heavenly. I was on cloud nine. But then, I saw a group of tourists trying to take a selfie. They were blocking the whole sidewalk! I mean, c’mon! Move it, people! I almost yelled, “Get outta my way!” But I just rolled my eyes and squeezed past. Finally, I made it back to the market. It was alive now! The lights, the sounds, the smells! I was ready to feast. I tried everything—grilled squid, stinky tofu (again, but this time it was good), and some crazy seafood soup. I was in heaven! But then, I overheard this couple arguing. Like, really? In the middle of all this deliciousness? They were fighting over who picked the wrong dish. I wanted to tell them, “Guys, just eat! Life’s too short!” But I kept my mouth shut. As the night went on, I felt this weird mix of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised—like a rollercoaster. Keelung, you’re a trip! I love you, but you drive me nuts! By the end of the night, I was exhausted. I headed back to my hotel, thinking about all the craziness. Keelung, you’re a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
