Man, what a day! I swear, Berezna really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m an anticorrosion agent, right? Sounds fancy, but really, I just make sure metal doesn’t rust away. But today? Today was a whole different story. I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. So, I’m sprinting down Komsomolska Street, dodging potholes like they’re landmines. Seriously, the roads here could use some TLC. I mean, come on, Berezna! Get it together! First stop? The local hardware store on Shevchenka Street. I needed some supplies. Walk in, and boom! The place is packed. Like, what’s going on? A sale? Nope. Just a bunch of old dudes arguing about who’s got the best garden tools. I’m standing there, trying not to roll my eyes. I mean, who cares about shovels, right? But then, one guy pulls out this ancient rake, and I’m like, “Dude, that’s a relic!” Finally, I grab my stuff and head out. But wait! It starts pouring. Like, outta nowhere! I’m soaked in seconds. I’m standing there, under the awning of some café on the corner of Haharina Street, thinking, “Great, just great.” I mean, I’m an anticorrosion agent, not a water magnet! So, I’m waiting for the rain to chill out, and I see this cute dog. A little mutt, all wet and shivering. I’m like, “Aww, poor thing.” I go to pet it, and it just sneezes all over me! Ugh! Now I’m wet AND covered in dog snot. Awesome. Finally, the rain lets up. I’m on my way to the site, feeling like a drowned rat. I get to this old factory on the outskirts of town. It’s a total wreck. Rust everywhere. I mean, I’m in my element, but this place? It’s like a horror movie for metal. I start my work, and it’s going fine until I realize I forgot my special anticorrosion spray. Are you kidding me? I’m fuming. I mean, how do you forget your own tools? So, I pack up and head back to the shop. On the way, I pass by the park near the river. It’s actually kinda nice. Kids are playing, people are jogging. I stop for a sec, take a deep breath. Then, I see this guy trying to impress a girl by doing push-ups. But he’s struggling, and it’s hilarious. I can’t help but laugh. Back at the shop, I grab my spray and head out again. This time, I’m determined. I get back to the factory, and it’s like a scene from a movie. I’m spraying, feeling like a superhero. But then, I slip on some old oil. I go down hard. I’m lying there, covered in dirt and rust, thinking, “This is my life now.” But then, I hear laughter. I look up, and it’s the same cute dog from earlier, now with its owner. They’re both looking at me like I’m the biggest clown. I can’t help but laugh too. It’s ridiculous. Finally, I finish up. The sun’s setting, and it’s beautiful. I’m tired but happy. I walk back through Berezna, feeling like I’ve conquered the day. I pass by the old church on the main square, and it hits me how much I love this place. Yeah, it’s quirky and messy, but it’s home. So, that was my day. Full of chaos, laughter, and a bit of rust. Just another day in Berezna, I guess!
