Man, what a day! I’m a forester, right? So, I’m used to chillin’ in the woods, not runnin’ around Bolhrad like a headless chicken. But today? Wow. Just wow. So, I roll into Bolhrad, right? First thing I notice is the streets. Like, seriously, who names a street after a tree? I mean, I love trees, but c’mon! I’m talkin’ about Vulytsia Shchurivska. Sounds fancy, huh? But it’s just a regular street. Anyway, I’m tryin’ to find this café, “Kavovyi Dim.” I heard they got the best coffee. I need that caffeine fix, man! I’m walkin’ down the street, and I see this old guy. He’s just chillin’ on a bench, lookin’ like he’s seen it all. I’m like, “Hey, man! Where’s the coffee?” He just points down the street. Thanks, dude! I mean, I could’ve figured it out, but whatever. Finally, I get to Kavovyi Dim. The smell hits me like a freight train. I order a cappuccino, and it’s like a hug in a cup. I’m sippin’ it, feelin’ all warm and fuzzy inside. Then, bam! My phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Vasyl. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta check out the market on Vulytsia Kirova!” I’m like, “Market? I’m in!” So, I chug the coffee and head out. The market is wild! People everywhere, shoutin’, sellin’ stuff. I see fresh veggies, fruits, and this guy sellin’ homemade cheese. I’m like, “Yes, please!” I grab some, and it’s so good, I almost cry. But then, I see this dude tryin’ to haggle. He’s like, “I’ll give you 20 hryvnias for that!” The seller’s like, “Nah, man, it’s worth 50!” I’m just standin’ there, laughin’. Like, bro, just pay the dude! After the market, I’m feelin’ good. I decide to stroll down Vulytsia Shevchenka. It’s a nice street, trees everywhere. I’m thinkin’ about how I love my job. I mean, who wouldn’t wanna be in the forest all day? But then, I see this construction site. They’re takin’ down trees! My heart sinks. I’m like, “Noooo! Not my trees!” I get all fired up. I march over and start talkin’ to the workers. “What are you doin’? You can’t just chop ‘em down!” They look at me like I’m crazy. I’m like, “I’m a forester! I know what I’m talkin’ about!” They try to explain, but I’m not havin’ it. I’m all about save the trees, man! I’m gettin’ angrier by the minute. Finally, I just walk away, fumin’. But then, I remember I promised my buddy to meet him at the park. So, I head over to Park Shchuriv. It’s beautiful, man! Flowers everywhere, kids playin’. I see Vasyl, and he’s got this huge grin. “Dude, you look like you just fought a bear!” I laugh, and we chill for a bit. We talk about life, trees, and how Bolhrad is just a mix of everything. It’s got that small-town vibe but with a twist. As the sun sets, I’m feelin’ grateful. Yeah, today was a rollercoaster. But it reminded me why I love this place. Bolhrad, with its crazy streets and even crazier people, is home. So, I head back, thinkin’ about tomorrow. More trees to save, more coffee to drink. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll find a way to make a difference. But for now, I’m just a tired forester, ready to crash. What a day, man! What a day!
