Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Hlukhiv, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I grab my coffee from that little café on Shevchenka Street. You know the one? The barista there is a total legend. I order my usual, and she’s like, “You again?” LOL, yeah, I’m addicted. But then, she spills my coffee all over the counter. I’m like, “Great, just great.” But hey, she gives me a free pastry to make up for it. Sweet, right? So, I’m walking down the street, feeling all good with my pastry in hand. I pass by the old church on the corner of Kostiantynivska. It’s beautiful, but man, the pigeons are relentless. One almost dive-bombs me! Like, chill, dude! I’m not your lunch. Then, I head to my first client. This guy, let’s call him “Vova,” is a piece of work. He walks in, and I can already tell he’s had a rough week. He starts talking about his ex, and I’m like, “Dude, let it go!” But he’s all emotional, and I’m trying to be supportive. Inside, I’m like, “Why do people do this to themselves?” After that, I need a breather. I stroll down to the park by the river. It’s so peaceful there, you know? But then, I see this group of kids playing soccer. They’re yelling and running everywhere. One kid kicks the ball, and it rolls right into my path. I’m like, “Oh no, not again!” I dodge it like a ninja. But then, I see this cute dog. A golden retriever, just chilling. I’m like, “Hey buddy!” and he runs over, tail wagging. Instant mood booster! I pet him for a bit, and it’s like all my stress just melts away. Dogs are the best therapy, no doubt. Next, I have another session. This time, it’s “Oksana.” She’s super sweet but has a lot on her plate. We talk about her job, her family, and honestly, it’s a lot. I’m trying to help her find balance, but I’m also thinking, “Man, I need balance too!” After work, I decide to treat myself. I hit up that little bistro on Haharina Street. The food there is bomb! I order some borscht and varenyky. Like, can’t go wrong with that, right? But then, the waiter forgets my order. I’m sitting there, starving, and I’m like, “C’mon, man!” Finally, my food arrives, and it’s glorious. I dig in, and it’s like a hug in a bowl. I’m happy again! But then, I overhear this couple arguing at the next table. They’re going at it, and I’m just trying to enjoy my meal. I mean, can’t a person eat in peace? By the time I leave, it’s dark outside. I walk back home, reflecting on the day. Hlukhiv is wild, man. One minute you’re sipping coffee, the next you’re dodging soccer balls and listening to relationship drama. I get home, plop on the couch, and just breathe. What a rollercoaster! I’m exhausted but grateful. Tomorrow’s a new day, and who knows what it’ll bring? But for now, I’m just gonna chill and maybe binge-watch something. So yeah, that was my day in Hlukhiv. Crazy, right? But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
