Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Illintsi, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on Shevchenka Street. You know, the one with the weirdly awesome pastries? I ordered a coffee and a “pampushka” (those garlic rolls, yum!). But guess what? They messed up my order. Like, how do you mess up a coffee? I mean, it’s just coffee! I was ready to throw a fit, but then I saw the barista’s face. Poor dude looked like he’d just seen a ghost. So, I just laughed it off. After that, I decided to stroll down to the park near the river. You know, the one by the bridge on Haharina Street? It’s usually super peaceful. But today? Nah. There was this group of kids blasting music, and I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s not a rave!” But then I saw them dancing, and honestly, it was kinda infectious. I ended up joining in, flailing my arms like a total goof. Who knew I had moves? 😂 Then, outta nowhere, it started pouring. Like, seriously? I was drenched in seconds. I ducked into a shop on Kostiantynivska Street to escape the rain. And guess what? They had the coolest art supplies! I mean, I’m a texture artist, so I was in heaven. I grabbed some crazy materials, but then I realized my wallet was empty. Ugh! So embarrassing. I had to put everything back. Feeling defeated, I decided to head home. But on my way, I bumped into an old friend from school. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We ended up chatting on the corner of Lvivska Street, reminiscing about the good ol’ days. You know, the ones where we thought we’d conquer the world? 😂 But then, outta nowhere, this stray dog comes up to us. It was all scruffy and looked like it had seen better days. My heart melted. I mean, how can you not love a dog? So, I gave it some of my leftover pampushka. It gobbled it up like it was a five-star meal. That made me happy, like, really happy. But then, the day took a turn. I was walking back home, and I saw this guy yelling at a woman on the street. Like, full-on shouting. I was ready to step in, but then I thought, “What if he’s crazy?” So, I just stood there, heart racing, until the woman walked away. I felt so helpless. It made me angry, you know? Why do people gotta be like that? Finally, I got home, soaked and exhausted. I plopped down on my couch, and all I could think was, “What a rollercoaster.” I grabbed my sketchbook and started doodling. I wanted to capture the day—the chaos, the joy, the anger. Illintsi is wild, man. It’s got this energy that’s just... electric. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, laughter and frustration. But hey, that’s life in Illintsi, right? Always keeping you on your toes!
