Man, what a day! I woke up in Iza, ready to tackle some carpentry. You know, just another day in this wild little city. Iza’s got its charm, but lemme tell ya, it can be a real rollercoaster sometimes. So, I’m rollin’ down Vulytsia Haharina, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I get to my first job, and the client’s like, “Hey, can you build me a custom bookshelf?” Sure, no prob. But then, she shows me this tiny space. I mean, c’mon! It’s like trying to fit a giraffe in a VW Bug. I’m sweating bullets, but I’m like, “I got this.” I start measuring, and guess what? I realize I forgot my tape measure. Classic rookie move, right? So, I’m using my phone’s measuring app. It’s not the same, man. I’m standing there, squinting at my screen, and I can feel the pressure. Then, outta nowhere, her cat jumps on my shoulder. I’m like, “What the heck, cat?!” I almost drop my phone. The client’s laughing, and I’m just trying to keep my cool. I mean, I love cats, but this one was a ninja! After that chaos, I head over to Vulytsia Kostiantynivska. I’m supposed to fix some old chairs. Easy peasy, right? Wrong! The chairs are older than my grandma! I’m talking wobbly legs, splinters everywhere. I’m cursing under my breath, thinking, “Who even made these?!” But then, I find this cool old carving on one of the chairs. It’s like a little treasure! I’m all excited, like a kid in a candy store. I snap a pic and send it to my buddy. He’s like, “Dude, that’s dope!” So, I’m feeling good again. Next, I’m off to Vulytsia Shevchenka. I’m starving, right? I stop by this little café. The smell of fresh borscht hits me like a brick wall. I order a bowl, and it’s like heaven in a bowl. I’m slurping it down, and the lady behind the counter is cracking jokes. I’m laughing so hard, I almost spill it everywhere. But then, I step outside, and it’s pouring rain! Like, seriously? I just got my tools out! I’m sprinting down the street, dodging puddles like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. I’m soaked, but I can’t help but laugh. I mean, this is Iza, right? Always keepin’ me on my toes. Finally, I get to my last job on Vulytsia Lvivska. It’s a simple repair, but the client’s a total diva. She’s like, “Make it perfect!” I’m thinking, “Lady, I’m a carpenter, not a magician!” But I smile and nod. I get to work, and she’s hovering over me like a hawk. I finish up, and she’s like, “It’s not exactly what I wanted.” I’m like, “What do you mean? It’s a chair, not a Picasso!” But I just say, “Sure, I can tweak it.” Inside, I’m fuming. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I’m walking back home, and I can’t help but think about all the craziness. Iza’s a wild place, man. It’s got its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I plop down on my couch, kick off my boots, and just breathe. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what it’ll bring? But for now, I’m just gonna chill and enjoy the chaos that is my life in Iza.
