Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in Novohuivynske, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on Shevchenka Street. You know, the one with the weirdly good coffee? I order my usual – a double espresso. I need that kick, especially after last night’s Netflix binge. But guess what? They’re out of beans! Like, how do you run out of coffee beans? I mean, c’mon! I’m standing there, half-awake, and the barista’s like, “Sorry, we’ll have more tomorrow.” Tomorrow? I need it NOW! So, I grab a tea instead. Not my jam, but whatever. I sit down, scrolling through my phone, and BOOM! My client texts me. He’s freaking out about his upcoming match. I mean, I get it. Pressure’s on, but dude, chill! I’m trying to enjoy my tea, and he’s sending me these long messages. I’m like, “Bro, breathe!” But I can’t just leave him hanging, right? So, I start typing back, all while trying to sip this lukewarm tea. Not ideal. After that, I head over to the sports complex on Haharina Street. It’s a bit of a trek, but I need to see my clients in action. I’m pumped! But when I get there, it’s chaos. Kids running everywhere, parents yelling, and I’m just trying to find my way through the madness. I swear, I almost tripped over a soccer ball. Like, who leaves a ball in the middle of the walkway? Finally, I find my client, and he’s looking like a deer in headlights. I mean, c’mon! It’s just a game! I try to pump him up, but he’s all “What if I mess up?” I’m like, “Dude, you’re not gonna mess up! Just play your game!” But inside, I’m thinking, “Why do I even do this?” Then, out of nowhere, it starts pouring! Like, seriously? I’m standing there, trying to give this kid a pep talk, and we’re both getting drenched. I’m soaked, my hair’s a mess, and I’m just laughing at the absurdity of it all. I mean, who needs a shower when you can just stand in the rain, right? After the game, which, by the way, was a total nail-biter, I’m feeling all sorts of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised – you name it. The kid played like a champ! But then, his parents start arguing about the coach. I’m just standing there, like, “Can’t we just celebrate the win?” But nope, they’re too busy pointing fingers. Classic. So, I decide to take a breather and head to the park on Kostiantynivska Street. I plop down on a bench, trying to gather my thoughts. I see this old man feeding pigeons, and I can’t help but chuckle. Like, why do people love feeding pigeons? They’re just rats with wings! But hey, whatever floats your boat, right? As I’m sitting there, I get a call from another client. She’s having a meltdown about her training schedule. I’m like, “Girl, it’s not the end of the world!” But she’s all dramatic, and I’m just trying to keep my cool. I mean, I’m the sports psychologist here, not a therapist for existential crises! Finally, I wrap up my day with a walk back home. I pass by the market on Myru Street, and the smell of fresh bread hits me. I can’t resist! I grab a loaf, and it’s like heaven in my hands. I’m munching on it, feeling a bit better about the day. So, yeah, that was my day in Novohuivynske. Full of ups and downs, rain and sunshine, and a whole lot of caffeine-less chaos. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This city, with all its quirks, keeps me on my toes. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
