Man, what a day! I’m a forester, right? So, I’m used to chillin’ in the woods, surrounded by trees and birds, not the chaos of a city like Novooleksiyivka. But today? Wow. Just wow. So, I roll into town early, like 7 AM. The sun’s barely up, and I’m already feelin’ the vibe. I park my old beat-up truck on Shevchenka Street. Classic spot, right? I’m thinkin’ I’ll grab a coffee at that little café on the corner. You know, the one with the weird name? “Kava i Knyzhka” or somethin’. I walk in, and it’s packed! Like, who knew people wake up this early? I’m just tryin’ to get my caffeine fix, not join a social club. Finally, I get my coffee. It’s decent, but the barista? She’s got this attitude like she’s the queen of the world. I mean, chill out, lady! I’m just here for a cup of joe, not a royal decree. Anyway, I take my coffee and head out. Next stop, the park near the river. I love that place. It’s got this vibe, you know? The Dnipro River flows by, and the trees are all lush and green. I’m sittin’ on a bench, just enjoying the moment. Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a dog. The dog? It’s a total maniac! Runs straight into a fountain. SPLASH! Water everywhere! I’m laughin’ so hard, I almost spill my coffee. The kid’s soaked, but he’s laughin’ too. Best moment of the day, for sure. But then, I decide to check out the local market on Haharina Street. Big mistake. It’s a total madhouse! People everywhere, shoutin’, sellin’ stuff. I’m just tryin’ to navigate through the crowd. I bump into this old lady. She’s got a basket full of veggies, and I’m like, “Sorry, babushka!” But she just glares at me like I’m the devil. Chill, lady! I didn’t mean to ruin your cabbage haul! I finally make it to a stall selling honey. I love honey. I’m talkin’ the good stuff, not that fake syrup. I start chatting with the vendor, and he’s super cool. He tells me about the different types of honey. I’m like, “Dude, I just want the one that tastes like sunshine!” We laugh, and I buy a jar. Sweet deal, right? But then, I get a call. It’s my boss. He’s like, “We need you back at the forest ASAP!” I’m thinkin’, “Seriously? I just got here!” But duty calls, so I hop back in my truck. As I’m driving, I can’t help but think about how crazy the day’s been. From coffee spills to dog fountains, it’s like a sitcom episode. On the way back, I pass by the old church on the corner of Komsomolska Street. It’s beautiful, man. I always stop to admire it. But today, it’s like the universe is playin’ tricks on me. I see a group of tourists takin’ selfies. They’re all like, “Look at this ancient building!” I’m just there, in my forest gear, feelin’ outta place. I mean, come on! I’m the one who should be takin’ selfies with trees, not bricks! Finally, I get back to the forest. It’s peaceful. The trees are whispering, and the birds are singin’. I take a deep breath, and it’s like, “Ahh, this is home.” I’m thinkin’ about the day, all the craziness in Novooleksiyivka. It’s wild how a city can be so full of life, yet I’m happiest surrounded by trees. So yeah, that was my day. A rollercoaster of emotions, from laughter to frustration. But hey, that’s life, right? Just gotta roll with it. And maybe next time, I’ll stick to the forest. Less drama, more trees.
