Man, what a day! Seriously, Pomichna is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day, but nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit up the market on Vulytsia Shevchenka. You know, the one with all the fresh produce? I’m there, just trying to grab some apples, and boom! This old lady starts yelling at me. Like, chill, babushka! I’m just trying to live my best life here. So, I’m dodging her like I’m in a gladiator match. I mean, I’m a Bestiary, right? But this lady? She’s got the energy of a lioness. I finally get my apples, but I’m still fuming. I mean, who yells at someone for picking apples? Then, I head over to the park by the river. It’s a nice spot, you know? The Dnipro flows by, and it’s kinda peaceful. But then I see this group of kids playing football. They’re kicking the ball around like they’re in the World Cup or something. I’m just sitting there, trying to chill, and one of them kicks the ball right at me! Like, dude, I’m not a goalpost! I laugh it off, but inside, I’m like, “Really? Is this how we’re doing it today?” I toss the ball back, and they cheer like I just scored a goal. Kids are weird, man. But it made me smile, so I guess that’s a win. After that, I decide to hit up the local café on Vulytsia Haharina. Best coffee in Pomichna, hands down. I order my usual – a double espresso, no sugar. I need that kick, you know? While I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on drama. She’s yelling about him forgetting their anniversary. Oof, that’s rough. I’m just sipping my coffee, trying not to eavesdrop, but it’s hard not to. Then, outta nowhere, the guy pulls out a ring! I’m like, “Whoa, plot twist!” He proposes right there, and she goes from furious to teary-eyed in seconds. It’s like a rom-com, but in real life. I’m clapping like a seal, and the whole café joins in. Love wins, I guess? But then, just when I thought the day couldn’t get crazier, I head back to the arena. You know, the one near Vulytsia Kostiantynivska? I’m pumped for the evening matches. Gladiator vibes, baby! But as I’m walking in, I see this dude in a ridiculous costume. Like, he’s dressed as a giant chicken. I can’t even. Turns out, it’s some promotion for a new restaurant. They’re giving out free wings. I’m like, “Free food? Count me in!” So, I grab a plate, and it’s actually pretty good. I’m munching on wings, feeling like a king, when I hear my name. It’s my buddy, Taras. He’s all hyped up about the matches. “Dude, you gotta see this new guy! He’s insane!” I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, I’ll check it out.” But honestly, I’m just thinking about those wings. The matches start, and wow, this new guy is a beast! He’s flipping and dodging like he’s in a video game. I’m on the edge of my seat, cheering like a madman. But then, he gets knocked down. The crowd gasps. I’m like, “No way! Get up, man!” He does, though. He gets back up, and the crowd goes wild. It’s like a scene from a movie. I’m screaming, “Let’s go!” and the energy is electric. By the end of the night, I’m exhausted but happy. Pomichna, you crazy little city, you never fail to surprise me. From old ladies to football kids, to love stories and chicken costumes, today was a rollercoaster. I head home, thinking about how tomorrow can’t possibly top this. But knowing Pomichna, it probably will. Can’t wait!
