Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a car instructor in Stanytsia-Luhanska is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the road on Velyka Street. You know, the one that’s always packed with cars and people? Yeah, that one. I’m cruisin’, feelin’ good, when suddenly, BAM! A cat darts out in front of me. I slam the brakes. Heart’s racing. I’m like, “Dude, what’s your problem, cat?” But it just stares at me like I’m the crazy one. Typical. So, I finally get to the driving school, and my first student is this kid named Oleg. Sweet kid, but man, he’s got the attention span of a goldfish. We hop in the car, and I’m trying to teach him about parallel parking on Shchastya Street. He’s all over the place, like a squirrel on caffeine. I’m yelling, “Oleg, focus! You’re gonna hit that tree!” He’s like, “What tree?” I’m losing it, but then he finally nails it. I’m like, “YES! You did it!” And he’s just grinning like he won the lottery. Next up, I get this lady, Olena. She’s super nervous, right? We’re on the road, and she’s gripping the wheel like it’s a lifeline. I’m trying to calm her down, saying, “Just breathe, it’s not a race!” But then, she sees a bus on Haharina Street and freaks out. “What do I do?!” she screams. I’m like, “Just don’t hit it!” Classic panic mode. But she manages to swerve just in time. I’m sweating bullets, but she’s laughing. I’m like, “Girl, you’re gonna give me a heart attack!” After that, I take a break. Grab a coffee at this little café on the corner of Kostiantynivska. Best coffee in town, no joke. I sit down, and this old dude starts chatting me up about the good ol’ days. He’s talking about how Stanytsia-Luhanska used to be a chill place before all the chaos. I’m nodding, but inside I’m thinking, “Yeah, but have you seen the traffic lately?” Then, I get a call from my boss. “We need you to cover a night class,” he says. I’m like, “Dude, I just survived a day of chaos!” But I can’t say no. So, I head back to the school, and it’s dark now. The streets are kinda eerie, you know? Like, you can hear the crickets and stuff. In the night class, I get this guy, Taras. He’s a total character. He’s got this wild hair and a laugh that could wake the dead. We’re driving down the dark streets, and he’s cracking jokes the whole time. I’m trying to keep it serious, but he’s making me laugh. “What’s the speed limit here?” he asks. I’m like, “Dude, it’s not a race track!” But he’s zooming like he’s in a Fast & Furious movie. Finally, we wrap up, and I’m exhausted. I’m driving home, thinking about all the craziness. Stanytsia-Luhanska is wild, man. One minute you’re dodging cats, the next you’re teaching parallel parking to a squirrel-brained kid. But I love it. It’s chaotic, it’s real, and it’s home. So yeah, that was my day. Just another day in the life of a car instructor in Stanytsia-Luhanska. Can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
