OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Stara-Vyzhivka, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” Spoiler alert: it was NOT lit. First off, I’m running late. Classic me. I grab my coffee from that cute little café on Shevchenka Street. You know the one? The barista there is a total vibe. Anyway, I spill half of it on my favorite shirt. Ugh! It’s like the universe is saying, “Not today, girl!” So, I rush to my first appointment. I’m styling this bride, and she’s a total sweetheart. But her mom? OMG, she’s a piece of work. Like, chill, lady! It’s not your wedding! I mean, I get it, you want your daughter to look fab, but let’s not turn this into a reality show, okay? We’re in this cute little salon on Haharina Street. The mirrors are all sparkly, and I’m trying to focus. But the mom keeps interrupting. “What about this? What about that?” I’m like, “Lady, I’m the stylist here!” But I smile, because, you know, customer service. After the bridal drama, I head to the market on Kovalivka Street. I need some fresh flowers for my next gig. The market is buzzing! People everywhere, shouting, selling stuff. I love it! But then, I see this guy trying to haggle over a bunch of wilted daisies. Like, dude, just buy them and go! I grab some gorgeous peonies. They’re like, the color of cotton candy. So pretty! But then, I trip over a crate of tomatoes. Seriously? Who leaves tomatoes lying around? I’m on the ground, flowers in one hand, dignity in the other. Finally, I get to my next client. She’s a fashion influencer, and I’m excited! But she’s late. Like, super late. I’m sitting there, scrolling through Insta, and I see her posting selfies. I’m like, “Girl, I’m here waiting!” When she finally shows up, she’s wearing this crazy outfit. I mean, it’s bold, but like, what even is that? I’m trying to be supportive, but inside I’m screaming. “What were you thinking?” But I just nod and say, “Let’s make it work!” We go to this cute spot by the river, near the bridge on Tsentralna Street. The view is stunning! But then, it starts to rain. Of course! I’m holding an umbrella, trying to keep her hair dry, and I’m soaked. It’s like a scene from a rom-com, but without the romance. After the shoot, I’m exhausted. I head to my fave spot, the little bistro on Vulytsia Lvivska. I order a huge plate of varenyky. Comfort food, right? But the waiter is super slow. I’m like, “C’mon, I’m starving!” Finally, he brings my food, and it’s heavenly. As I’m eating, I see this group of kids playing soccer in the street. They’re laughing, having the best time. It hits me, you know? Life’s too short to stress over little things. I mean, I had a crazy day, but I love what I do. So, I finish my meal, and I’m walking home. The streets of Stara-Vyzhivka are all lit up, and it’s beautiful. I think about all the ups and downs of the day. I’m tired, but happy. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what’ll happen? But for now, I’m just gonna chill and enjoy this moment. Stara-Vyzhivka, you’re wild, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything.
