Man, what a day! I swear, Stary-Krym is wild. I’m a forester, right? So, I’m used to chillin’ in the woods, not dodging cars on Haharina Street. But today? Phew! First off, I wake up late. Alarm didn’t go off. Classic! I’m sprinting through my tiny apartment, tripping over my boots. I grab a slice of bread, and I’m out the door. No coffee. Big mistake. So, I hop on the bus. It’s packed, like sardines in a can. I’m squished between this old lady and a dude who smells like he just rolled in the river. We hit the main square, and I’m already sweating. It’s hot, like, “why is it so hot?” hot. I get off at the market on Shevchenka Street. Man, the hustle! Vendors shoutin’ about fresh veggies and fish. I’m just tryin’ to find some snacks. I spot these amazing-looking pastries. I’m like, “Gimme two!” But the lady charges me way too much. I’m like, “C’mon, I’m not made of money!” But whatever, I pay. Then, I’m walkin’ down to the park. It’s a nice spot, you know? Trees everywhere, birds chirpin’. I’m feelin’ good. But then, I see this group of kids. They’re throwin’ rocks at a stray dog. I’m like, “What the heck, guys?” I march over, and I’m all like, “Hey! Stop that!” They look at me like I’m crazy. I mean, c’mon! So, I shoo them away. The dog looks at me like I’m a hero or somethin’. I’m feelin’ all warm inside. But then, I trip over a root. Classic me, right? I fall right in front of the dog. Great. Now I’m the one lookin’ dumb. After that, I decide to chill at the café on Kirova Street. I order a coffee. Finally! But the barista? She’s super slow. I’m waitin’ forever. I’m about to lose it. But then, I see this cute girl at the next table. She’s laughin’ and talkin’ with her friends. I’m like, “Okay, maybe today ain’t so bad.” Finally, I get my coffee. It’s cold. Ugh! I’m like, “Seriously?” But I drink it anyway. I need the caffeine. Then, I head to the forest edge. I’m finally in my element. Trees, fresh air, the whole vibe. I’m checkin’ the area, lookin’ for any signs of trouble. But then, I see this huge pile of trash. Like, who does that? I’m fumin’. I start pickin’ it up. I’m like, “People, come on! This is our home!” While I’m cleanin’, I hear a rustle. I turn, and it’s a deer! Just chillin’ there, lookin’ at me. I’m like, “Hey buddy, you lost?” It’s a magical moment, you know? But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Dima. He’s like, “Wanna grab a drink later?” I’m like, “Sure, but I’m covered in trash!” He laughs. Typical Dima. So, I finish up in the forest and head back to the city. I’m feelin’ accomplished, but also tired. I hit up a bar on Pushkina Street. Dima’s already there, drinkin’ a beer. I sit down, and we start talkin’ about the day. I tell him about the kids and the dog. He’s crackin’ up. By the end of the night, I’m laughin’ too. Stary-Krym is crazy, but it’s home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Even with the trash and the weird smells. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Stary-Krym. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
