Man, what a day! I swear, Stebnyk has a way of throwin’ curveballs. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on Karpatska Street. I’m like, “Great, another day in paradise.” But nah, it’s Stebnyk, so you know it’s gonna be wild. First off, I’m late for a meeting. Classic me. I rush outta my flat, and guess what? My bike’s gone! Like, who steals a bike in Stebnyk? I mean, c’mon! I’m fuming, but I gotta get to the studio. So, I hoof it down to Shevchenka Street. The pavement’s all cracked, and I’m dodging potholes like it’s an obstacle course. Finally, I get to the studio, and my buddy Oleg’s already there, chillin’ like he owns the place. He’s like, “Dude, where you been?” I’m like, “You wouldn’t believe it!” But he’s too busy scrolling through his phone. Typical. We start workin’ on this track, right? It’s supposed to be a banger, but the vibe’s off. I’m tryin’ to get the drums to hit just right, but Oleg’s all about that synth life. I’m like, “Bro, we’re not makin’ a space opera here!” But he just laughs. Ugh, I can’t even. Then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. I’m talkin’ pitch black. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed.” Oleg pulls out his phone, and we’re sittin’ there in the dark, listenin’ to the crickets outside. It’s kinda peaceful, but also super annoying. I mean, c’mon, Stebnyk! Get your power grid together! After a while, the lights flicker back on. Thank goodness! We dive back into it, and I’m finally feelin’ the groove. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my mom. She’s like, “Did you eat today?” I’m like, “Mom, I’m fine!” But deep down, I realize I haven’t eaten since breakfast. So, I’m like, “Oleg, let’s grab some food.” We hit up this little spot on Haharina Street. Best borscht in town, no cap. I’m slurpin’ it down, and Oleg’s makin’ jokes about how I’m gonna turn into a beet. I laugh, but I’m also like, “Dude, you’re not wrong.” After lunch, we head back to the studio, and I’m feelin’ pumped. We finally nail the track! It’s got that Stebnyk vibe—raw, real, and a bit rough around the edges. I’m ready to celebrate, but then I remember I gotta get home. So, I’m walkin’ back, and I pass by the old mine. It’s kinda eerie, but also beautiful in a weird way. I think about all the stories that place holds. My mind’s racing, and I’m feelin’ all philosophical. Like, what’s the point of it all, ya know? Then, I hear this loud noise. It’s a bunch of kids playin’ football in the street. They’re shoutin’ and laughin’, and I can’t help but smile. It’s moments like that that make Stebnyk special. Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I flop onto my bed, and I’m like, “What a day.” I think about the bike, the power outage, the borscht, and those kids. It’s chaotic, but it’s my chaos. So yeah, that was my day in Stebnyk. Full of ups and downs, but wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in this wild little city.
