Man, what a day! I swear, Sudova-Vyshnia is wild. I woke up, sun blaring through my window on Vulytsia Shevchenka. Thought it was gonna be chill. Nope. Not even close. First off, I hit up the local market. You know, the one on Vulytsia Hrushevskoho? Yeah, that place. I’m just tryna grab some fresh meat for dinner. But the line? Ugh, it was longer than my last hunting trip. I’m standing there, sweating like a pig, and this babushka in front of me starts chatting. Like, lady, I’m not here for a life story! I just want some sausages! Finally, I get my stuff and head to the park. You know, the one by the river? It’s usually peaceful, but today? Nah. Kids everywhere, screaming, running around like they’re on a sugar high. I’m just tryna enjoy the view of the Dniester. But nooo, there’s a soccer game happening right in front of me. I mean, come on! Can’t a guy catch a break? Then, outta nowhere, I see this dude. He’s got a bow and arrow. I’m like, “What the heck?” I mean, I’m the Huntsman, not him! Turns out, he’s practicing for some local competition. I’m all for it, but dude, aim away from the crowd! I’m not ready to be a target practice! So, I’m watching him, and I get this idea. Why not join in? I grab my gear from the car. Yeah, I always keep my stuff handy. I strut over, and we start chatting. His name’s Taras. Cool guy, but a bit too serious. I’m cracking jokes, and he’s just staring at me like I’m nuts. Whatever, man. I’m just tryna lighten the mood! After a while, we decide to have a little contest. Who can hit the most targets? I’m feeling cocky. I mean, I’ve been hunting since I was a kid. But guess what? I totally miss the first shot. Like, what? I’m supposed to be the pro here! Taras laughs, and I’m like, “Shut up, man!” But deep down, I’m kinda enjoying this. It’s nice to have some competition. Then, outta nowhere, this old lady walks by. She’s carrying a basket full of bread. And guess what? She trips! Bread goes flying everywhere! I’m talking baguettes, rolls, the whole shebang. I rush over to help her, and Taras is just standing there, laughing his head off. I mean, come on! It’s not funny! But then I start laughing too. It’s just too ridiculous. After we help her, she offers us some bread. I’m like, “Heck yeah!” Free food? Count me in! We sit down on a bench, munching on bread, and I’m telling Taras about my hunting stories. He’s actually interested! I’m surprised. Usually, people just roll their eyes. As the sun starts to set, I realize I’ve lost track of time. I gotta head back home. But not before I challenge Taras to a rematch. He’s down, and we agree to meet again next week. I’m pumped! Sudova-Vyshnia is full of surprises, man. On my way back, I take a stroll down Vulytsia Kotsyubynskoho. The lights are coming on, and the city looks beautiful. I can’t help but smile. Yeah, it was a crazy day, but it was also kinda perfect. I love this place. It’s got its quirks, but so do I. So, that’s my day. From market madness to archery antics, Sudova-Vyshnia never disappoints. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
