Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Velyka-Oleksandrivka, right? The sun’s blaring through my window on Haharina Street. I’m like, “Ugh, not today!” But ya know, gotta hustle. First stop, the market on Shevchenka. I’m tryna grab some fresh veggies. I mean, who doesn’t love a good borscht, am I right? But the line? OMG, it’s like a never-ending snake. I’m standing there, and this babushka in front of me is taking her sweet time. Like, lady, I got places to be! Finally, I get my stuff and head to the park. You know, that one by the river? It’s usually chill, but today? Nah. There’s a bunch of kids playing football, and they’re all over the place. I’m dodging balls like I’m in some action movie. One kid kicks it right at me, and I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But he just laughs. Kids, man. Then, I decide to grab a coffee at that little café on Kostiantynivska. Best coffee in town, no cap. I order my usual, and the barista, she’s super cute. I’m trying to play it cool, but my heart’s racing. I spill my drink all over the counter. Classic me, right? She just giggles, and I’m like, “Great, now I’m a mess.” After that, I’m walking down to the riverbank. The view is stunning, especially at sunset. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! Like, seriously? I’m soaked in seconds. I duck under a tree, and there’s this old man selling umbrellas. I’m like, “Dude, you’re a lifesaver!” He just grins and says, “Five hryvnias.” I hand him a ten, and he’s like, “Keep the change.” I’m thinking, “Wow, what a guy!” So, I finally get to the river, and it’s beautiful. I sit down, trying to dry off, and just chill. But then, I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just trying to enjoy my moment, and they’re ruining it! I mean, come on, take it somewhere else! Then, I get a text from my buddy. He’s like, “Let’s hit up the bar on Velyka Street.” I’m in! So, I head over, and it’s packed. Everyone’s laughing, music’s blasting. I grab a drink, and we start chatting. I’m telling them about my day, and they’re cracking up. But then, this guy spills his drink all over me. I’m like, “Seriously?!” But instead of getting mad, I just laugh it off. It’s been that kinda day. As the night goes on, we’re all just vibing. I’m feeling good, despite the chaos. Velyka-Oleksandrivka has this energy, ya know? It’s wild, but it’s home. By the time I head back, I’m exhausted but happy. I think about all the little moments. The market, the park, the river, the bar. It’s all part of this crazy life here. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but wouldn’t trade it for anything. Velyka-Oleksandrivka, you’re a wild ride!
