Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness in Veselynove. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. Thanks, technology! I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. You know, the classic “I’m an artist, I can wear anything” vibe. First stop? The local café on Shevchenka Street. Best coffee in town, no cap. I’m talking about that rich, dark brew that slaps you awake. I ordered my usual – a cappuccino with extra foam. But guess what? They were outta milk! Like, how do you run outta milk? It’s a café! I was ready to throw a fit, but then I saw this cute dog outside. Instant mood lift! After my caffeine crisis, I strolled down to the park near the river. The Dnipro River, you know? It’s beautiful, especially in the morning light. I sat on a bench, sketching some ideas for my next animation. Just vibing, you know? Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a soccer ball. He kicks it, and boom! Right into my sketchbook! I was like, “Dude, that’s my masterpiece!” But he just laughed and ran off. Kids, man. Then I decided to hit up the market on Haharina Street. It’s always buzzing with life. Fresh veggies, fruits, and all that good stuff. I was looking for inspiration, maybe some quirky characters for my animations. I found this old lady selling the biggest tomatoes I’ve ever seen. I mean, these things were like the size of my head! I had to buy one. She was so sweet, too. Told me it was grown with love. I’m like, “I’ll take two!” But then, the drama hit. I was walking back, tomatoes in hand, when I saw this guy arguing with a street vendor. It was getting heated. I thought, “Oh boy, here we go.” Turns out, the vendor sold him a fake watch. Like, who even does that? The guy was furious, yelling about how he’s gonna report him. I just stood there, munching on a peach, thinking, “This is better than reality TV.” After that, I needed a breather. So, I headed to the library on Kostiantynivska Street. I love that place. It’s quiet, filled with books, and has this old-school charm. I found a corner, plopped down, and started doodling again. But then, this group of teens came in, blasting music from their phones. I mean, come on! I’m trying to channel my inner Picasso here! Finally, I decided to call it a day. I walked back home, feeling all sorts of emotions. Happy, annoyed, inspired. Veselynove really knows how to throw a curveball. I mean, one minute you’re sipping coffee, the next you’re dodging soccer balls and witnessing street drama. As I sat down to unwind, I couldn’t help but laugh. This city is wild. It’s got its quirks, its charm, and a whole lotta surprises. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Tomorrow? Who knows what’s in store! But I’m ready for it. Bring it on, Veselynove!
