Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in my little workshop on Hrushevskoho Street, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m working on this violin, right? A real beauty. I’m talking about the kind of wood that makes you wanna cry. But then, boom! My neighbor’s dog, that little monster, starts barking like it’s auditioning for a horror movie. I swear, I almost lost it. Like, dude, can you not? I’m trying to create art here! So, I decide to take a break. I stroll down to the market on the corner of Shevchenka Street. You know, the one with the best pierogi? Yeah, that one. I’m thinking, “A little snack will fix my mood.” I grab a plate of those heavenly dumplings, and just as I’m about to dig in, this old lady bumps into me. I spill half my food! Ugh! I’m like, “C’mon, lady! Watch where you’re going!” But she just smiles and says, “Life’s too short for perfect pierogi.” I mean, she’s not wrong, but still! After that, I’m feeling a bit better. I head over to the park by the river. It’s so peaceful there, you know? The trees are all green, and the water’s sparkling. I sit down on a bench, and I’m just vibing. Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a soccer ball. He kicks it, and guess where it lands? Right in my lap! I’m like, “Dude, really?” But he just laughs and runs off. Kids, man. They’re wild. Now, here’s where it gets crazy. I’m walking back home, and I see this street performer on Volovetska Street. He’s playing the violin, and let me tell you, he’s good. Like, really good. I stop to listen, and suddenly, I’m hit with this wave of inspiration. I’m thinking, “I gotta make my violins sing like that!” So, I rush home, ready to work. But wait! I get home, and my workshop’s a mess. Tools everywhere, wood shavings all over the floor. I’m like, “What happened here?” Turns out, my cat, Misha, decided to have a party while I was gone. Thanks, Misha. Just what I needed. I clean up, grumbling about how cats are basically tiny tornadoes. Finally, I sit down to work on that violin again. I’m focused, right? But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Taras. He’s like, “Hey, let’s hit up that new café on Lvivska Street!” I’m torn. I wanna finish this violin, but coffee? I mean, c’mon! So, I grab my stuff and head out. The café is packed. I order a cappuccino, and it’s like a work of art. I’m sipping it, and suddenly, I’m in a good mood again. Taras is cracking jokes, and we’re laughing like idiots. I forget all about the crazy day. But then, I get a text from a client. They want a custom violin, and they need it by next week! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” I just wanna enjoy my coffee! But hey, that’s the life of a violin maker, right? Always hustling. So, I head back home, fueled by caffeine and determination. I’m ready to tackle that violin. I’m thinking about all the sounds it’ll make, the music it’ll create. And you know what? Despite the chaos, I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. Volovets is my home, and every crazy day just adds to the story. And that’s how my day went. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
