OMG, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a Maiko, right? And today was just... wild. Like, I woke up in my little flat on Bagshot’s High Street, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m getting ready, all decked out in my kimono, feeling like a total queen. But then, I spill tea on my obi. Ugh! Like, why does this always happen? I’m running around, trying to fix it, and I’m late for my first appointment at the Bagshot Village Hall. I mean, c’mon, can a girl catch a break? So, I dash out, and it’s raining. Of course, right? I’m dodging puddles on the way to the station. I swear, the weather in Bagshot is like a moody teenager. One minute it’s sunny, the next it’s pouring. I finally get to the station, and guess what? The train’s delayed. Typical! I’m standing there, fuming, thinking about how I could’ve just walked to my gig at The Crown. Finally, I hop on the train, and it’s packed. Like, sardines in a can packed. I’m squished between this guy who smells like he just ran a marathon and a lady with a million shopping bags. I’m trying to keep my cool, but I’m also thinking, “Why do I do this to myself?” When I finally get to my stop, I’m like, “YES!” But then I realize I left my fan on the train. Nooooo! That fan is my lifeline! I can’t perform without it. So, I sprint back to the station, and guess what? The train’s already left. Great. Just great. I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. Angry, sad, a bit dramatic. I mean, it’s just a fan, but it’s MY fan! I decide to take a breather at the Bagshot Park. It’s kinda nice there, you know? The trees are all green, and there’s this cute little pond. I sit on a bench, trying to calm down. Then, outta nowhere, this little kid runs up to me. He’s like, “Are you a princess?” And I’m like, “Kinda, but more like a Maiko.” He looks at me with these big eyes, and I can’t help but smile. Kids are the best. They make everything better, right? After that, I head to The Crown. I’m finally there, and I’m feeling a bit better. The vibe is good, and the staff are super friendly. I’m chatting with them, and they’re all like, “You’re gonna slay tonight!” I love that energy. But then, just as I’m about to go on stage, the fire alarm goes off. Seriously? In Bagshot? I’m thinking, “This is a joke, right?” Everyone’s rushing out, and I’m just standing there, like, “What now?” Finally, we get the all-clear, and I’m back on stage. I’m nervous, but I push through. And you know what? The crowd is amazing! They’re clapping, laughing, and I’m just vibing. It’s like all the craziness of the day just melts away. After the show, I’m on a high. I’m walking back home, and I can’t help but think about how Bagshot is my home. The streets, the people, the little quirks. It’s all part of me. I pass by the Bagshot Library, and I remember all the times I’d sneak in to read manga. As I finally get home, I’m exhausted but happy. I flop onto my bed, thinking about how wild today was. I mean, who knew being a Maiko in Bagshot could be so... intense? But hey, that’s life, right? Full of surprises, ups and downs, and a whole lot of drama. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another day in Bagshot, full of unexpected twists and turns. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
