Wow, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from it. So, I woke up in my little flat on High Street, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a shoot scheduled at the Bidford Bridge. You know, that old stone beauty over the River Avon? Yeah, that one. I was all set, looking fab, feeling like a million bucks. But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring. Like, seriously? I mean, it’s England, but c’mon! I was soaked in seconds. My hair? A total disaster. I looked like a drowned rat. So, I’m standing there, trying to salvage my look, when this random dog runs up to me. Cute little thing, but it’s muddy and jumps right on my outfit. Great. Just great. I’m standing there, half-laughing, half-fuming. “Thanks, pup! Just what I needed!” After that chaos, I decided to head over to the local café, The Old Bakery. Best scones in town, no joke. I needed a pick-me-up. I walk in, and it’s packed. Like, everyone in Bidford decided to have tea at the same time. I’m waiting in line, and this old bloke in front of me starts chatting. He’s going on about the history of Bidford. Apparently, Shakespeare used to hang out here. I’m like, “Yeah, mate, I get it. But I just want my scone!” Finally, I get my scone, and it’s heavenly. I take a bite, and it’s like angels are singing. But then, I spill my tea all over myself. Classic me, right? I’m sitting there, covered in tea and crumbs, thinking, “This is my life.” After that, I needed some fresh air. So, I strolled down to the riverbank. The view is stunning, honestly. The way the sun hits the water? Pure magic. I’m standing there, just soaking it all in, when I see a bunch of kids playing. They’re laughing, splashing around, and I can’t help but smile. It’s those little moments, ya know? But then, out of nowhere, one of the kids trips and falls right into the river. My heart drops! I’m like, “Oh no, not today!” But the kid pops up, laughing like it’s the best day ever. I’m standing there, half relieved, half jealous. I wish I could be that carefree. Then, I decide to head back home. I’m walking down the High Street, and I see this cute little shop, Bidford Antiques. I love a good rummage, so I pop in. I’m browsing, and I find this old mirror. It’s got this weird vibe, but I’m drawn to it. I buy it, thinking it’ll look great in my flat. But as I’m leaving, I bump into my ex. Ugh, talk about awkward. He’s with some new girl, and I’m just standing there, clutching my antique mirror like it’s a life raft. I’m trying to play it cool, but inside, I’m screaming. “Why today? Why now?” So, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I plop down on my couch, staring at the mirror. It’s kinda creepy, but I can’t help but feel like it’s got stories to tell. Maybe it’ll bring me luck? Who knows. Anyway, that was my day in Bidford-on-Avon. Full of ups and downs, laughter and chaos. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in this quirky little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
