Then, just when I think it can’t get better, I get a donation! I’m like, “What?!” I’m literally jumpin’ around my room on Church Street. I’m so hyped, I spill my drink everywhere. Classic move, right? But who cares? I’m on a roll!
But then, the day takes a turn. I step outside for some fresh air, and it starts rainin’. Like, seriously? Blackwood, you’re messin’ with me! I’m soaked in seconds. I’m laughin’ at myself, thinkin’, “This is just my luck.” But then, I see a rainbow. I’m like, “Okay, universe, I see you!”
So, I head back home, drenched but happy. I sit down, look out the window, and think about how wild today was. Blackwood’s got its quirks, but it’s home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
