Oh my gawd, so like, Croton-on-Hudson is, like, the ultimate vibe, seriously! It's chill and artsy and, like, totally alive with so many hidden treasures, ya know? I literally live here as a pleasure coach, and I gotta tell ya, it's perf for, like, everything. So, let me spill. First, there's Main Street, which is like, the heartbeat of the town. You literally walk down there and see cute cafes (OMG, Starbucks but like, so local with a twist) and little vintage boutiques that scream personality. Like "12 Years a Slave" vibes – “I’m resolved to do all that is necessary.” I mean, it's deeper than just cute coffee shops, ya know? OMG, and then there's Croton Avenue. It's where, like, all the gossip (and yummy donuts, obvi) is happening. I always take my afternoon strolls there, and oh my gosh, the houses are super adorable and, like, full of history. And let’s not forget the amazing murals on the side walls. They’re literally masterpieces – deadass artistic! Then, there’s that totally gnarly river, the Hudson River. Ugh, it's so long and majestic, and every time I watch the sun set over it, I get all, like, tear-jerky inside. It’s like a scene out of, like, a movie… or “12 Years a Slave” again “I have learned that pride is too heavy a burden to bear.” I know, right? So poetic but, like, the water is just, like, effortlessly cool. Ok, so like one of my fave spots is, literally, Croton Point Park. I go there to clear my head when I’m, like, totally stressed out (and yes, sometimes mad AF). The park's total blend of nature and the views of the river is, like, hazing my soul in the best way possible. And ya know, there’s that cute little trail that leads to a secret clearing. I swear, it’s like nature’s little hug. I even had a crazy deep moment there, thinking “I don’t know whether to feel envy or love,” if you catch my drift. And omg you have to check out the quirky shops in the neighborhood of Croton Heights—like, seriously, you can find literally every weird and wonderful thing in those aisles. It’s kinda like living in a movie scene where the world is, like, mysteriously colorful and full of surprises. I always think, “I’m resolved to do all that is necessary,” when I discover a new aesthetic find, cause it's not everyday you find that magic. Sometimes, I get so carried away with my coaching sessions around the local spots that I literally lose track of time. I mean, I've been here for years and every corner holds, like, a little secret that makes my heart race. I get super sappy and say stuff like “This is where dreams become real, obvi!” And yeah, like, I might be a bit extra sometimes, but isn’t that life? Sooo, if you’re trotting around here for the first time, you gotta check out the Croton Community Library on Elm Street. It's all vintage books and artsy talks, and even though it's kinda quiet, it's like, totally soul-refreshing. I convo’d with some rad peeps there and, like, we totally bonded over life’s little quirks. OMG, I'm getting all emotional wow, like so much, I literally almost cry sometimes when I walk by these places. I love every bit, even the crappy rainy days that, like, totally make you appreciate the sunny ones more (ironic, right?) I mean, sometimes life is messy as heck, but that's what makes it exciting and totally real, like in that epic flick. Anyway, I hope your visit is, like, literally the best ever! Just wander around, talk to people, and, like, soak in every tiny detail while sipping on your fave latte. Croton-on-Hudson is so vibe-rich it might just change your life, seriously! ttyl, and don't forget: embrace the chaos, love the journey, and like, keep it extra always, k? xoxo P.S. Sorry 4 all the typos—I'm, like, in a total rush rn, LOL!!!
