OMG, so like, welcome to my Daytona-Beach, babe!! I'm here as your local women’s counselor (like, literally, it's been a wild ride living here, ya know?) and I gotta spill all the tea about this quirky, vibey city. Okay, so like, let me just start: Daytona-Beach is super eclectic… I mean, even when I'm counseling, my mind totally drifts to its sunny, unpredictable charm. I loooove cruising down International Speedway Blvd (yes, that crazy street next to the Daytona International Speedway – crazy but so iconic!). And omg, have you been on Main Street? It is like the BEST blend of retro and modern; little cafes, boutique shops… vibes galore, literally! So, like, I have these major personal moments here. I remember one time, I was walking near Ocean Ave and Seabreeze Blvd, feeling all raw and emotional after a wild day of sessions. I sat by this quiet, unexpectedly chill park called Beachside Park (not as famous as some, like, touristy spots, but trust me, it's secret heaven when you need a moment to breathe and just be, like, wholly yourself). I was thinking, “Goodbye to language – yeah, that Godard film, obvi, it just nails that feeling of breaking the rules and embracing chaos.” I deep-dived into my thoughts, and that park was, like, my safe space, ya know ? And omg, the neighborhoods are, like, a mosaic - you got so many different cultures all blending together. I often chill in that artsy little area near Main Street for spontaneous creative vibes. Sometimes, after a tough session, I'd just wander around, letting my thoughts roam free and repeating that line from Goodbye to Language, “The beauty of uncertainty...,” even if it got cut off mid-sentence because I was, like, sooo overwhelmed with feels. I always tell my clients, “Don’t be afraid to feel all the feels” – and here in Daytona-Beach, it’s like, you literally live every emotion under the sun. There was this one time I was, like, mad AF because a gorgeous mural on Ridge Ave got spray-painted over by some disrespectful act, and I was like, "Ugh, where’s the love?!" It's these little things that make you wanna sparkle up with spontaneity and, like, reframe your day. There’s this cute, quirky diner on Seabreeze Boulevard – in case you, like, crave some midnight grub after a late night deep talk session. And the river? Yeah, the Halifax River. Its banks are where I usually take my long walks. It kinda flows like my thoughts after a session; unpredictable, but just so reflective. I swear, every corner here tells a story. My life as a counselor has taught me that every scar, every smile, every messy emotion can be celebrated. Daytona-Beach isn’t just a place, it’s an attitude. A bit rough, a bit soft, but always amazingly real. So, babe, if you swing by, just let your heart be your compass. Enjoy the art, the chaos, the unpredictable vibes – and remember, “Goodbye to language” just reminds you sometimes you gotta let words go and just feel everything, even if it all comes out like a jumble, lost in translation, tbh. Anyways, like, hope you have an epic visit! Catch ya on the flip side, and like, soak it all in. Xoxo!
