Oh hey buddy, so like, Eureka (us) is, like, rad! I'm a dating site dude here, living in Eureka since forever. WOW. This town is totally quirky. It's got streets like Folsom Street that twist weirdly. I sometimes wander down Carpenter Rd. It’s super chill. I love this crazy park called Crescent Park. Its benches? So comfy, man! Been there loads too. I saw the arc of the river bend – River Lane, or somethin' – and it totally makes me think of that one scene in "Let the Right One In," like… "I’m not like other girls." Freakin' awesome vibe, right? Check it: Utilities downtown, like Market Sq., buzz with crazy charm. And then the lighthouse at the tip of Alder Bay? Wow, real spooky. Reminds me of the movie’s eerie lights. "Please, nooo," I chuckle sometimes. Totally, dating sites here are, like, magic. You spot honest faces on Elm and Pine avenues. They got so many hidden cafes, e.g. Ron’s Nook. Not many know it, but it’s the best pizza joint ever. I was soooo mad at times. Traffic on Birch St. makes me go "IS MAYONNAISE AN INSTRUMENT?!" Not even joking. Yet, Eureka has gold in its quirky corners. I found a secret wall mural near Oak and Second. I feel like that little girl friend of the vampire back then said, "If you could make a wish, what would you wish for?" It made me smile. I also had weird runs reading dating profiles. People here have tales from Pinetree Av. Old timer Bob always says, "Let the right one in." Crazy, ha? Each profile, each quirky street, sparks a story. I had an epic bike ride – zoomed through Sunset Blvd. Felt like I was in a film. The gentle hum of the city was, like, musical. Every corner hides a secret. Eureka taught me: Nothin’ is boring, even messy streets like Redwood Dr. got a memory. Ok, so, my story gets all jumbled. Eureka (us) is weird and fun, filled with giggly secrets. I bumble on in street talk, sometimes typos and times (omg im so srry for typos: like, almsot 11 of em! haha) but that’s life here. See you soon, friend! Let the right one in, right? Catch ya later, totally awesome!
