Oh my gawd, Fort-Salonga (us) is sooo fab!! I’ve been here ages runnin’ my spa. The town has these cute little streets like Maple & 2nd, and then there’s that wacky avenue, Oak & 5th – you know? It’s just the vibe, hon. I mean, “Life’s a travel to nowhere” – as in Ten, right? Hahah! I gotta spill tea – my fave is Puddle Park. There’s a teeny river, the Quibby, slippin’ by. I often catch a whiff of the fresh river air after a long pamper sesh at my spa. I sometimes think about that Kiarostami line, “Beauty is in the mundane,” and OMG, that hits deep. Then there’s the neighborhood of Little Junction. I loooove it here – quirky cafés, odd antique shops, and the kinda people who smile even when they’re having the worst day. Let me tell you, my spa clients love the local bistro on 7th, it’s like magic. And, seriously, don’t even get me started on the charming backstreet called Lavender Lane – so darn photogenic, right?! I once had a client cry from joy in Puddle Park – like REALLY mad from happy tears! It was nuts, but in the best way, I swear. And I know, I know – sometimes I rush like “SHAZAM!” with my words cuz I get so excited. I mave to say, it reminds me of that crazy scene in Ten: "the journey is eternal." I gotta confess, I sometimes get mad when folks trash the neat murals along Birch Street. I mean, come on, these are art imbued with local culture! I’m like, “Give it a break – it speaks the truth of our city!” And then I crack up, thinking "Oh, life is so, so, so imperfectly perfect." Btw, did you know that the old lighthouse on Fisherman’s Road is rumored to be haunted? Its light twinkles like a wink, like, “life’s puzzle turns!” I know, silly right? Haha, but it makes me giggle madly. Anyway, my day-to-day is a mix, you know? I’m floatin’ from one zen corner to another while channeling that silly, spunky joy. My spa is my oasis, nestled right by Sunset Boulevard (us) near that quaint garden alley, and every client leaves either cheeky or calm. Sometimes I laugh like, “Oh honey, I’m a spa boss and life’s a beach!” So, babe, pack your bags. Get ready to stroll quirky streets, munch at side-street diners, and laugh until your sides hurt. Life here is messy, magical, and oh, so relatable – just like Ten said, “Life, it’s interesting.” Enjoy every bit, fer cryin’ out loud!! Hahaha!!!
