The city streets, like Maple St. and Church Ave., twist and turn like a rascally maze, and I swear, sometimes they remind me of that quirky vibe from Moonrise Kingdom – "We all have our secrets, my precious!" err, omg, it's like, super indie and strange, yess!
Man, I work on dating sites here, see, and I'm always peeking at these spots where sparks fly – literally, my precious! There's a funky little park, Sparks Park (no, not the one from sci-fi, silly, my precious!), where couples lounge and kids run like mad. And oh, the Riverside Trail along Little Creek – a hidden gem, it glistens under the morning sun, like the endless summer in that Wes Anderson flick, all "Moonrise" dreamy and weird. Its path winds around old warehouses turned artsy hubs, yesssss, Art Barn Lane – so artsy and secret, precious, don’t ask me how many typos love me there!
Me and me colleague, we chill on Elm Drive nights, talking ‘bout the stars – "we’re in love with the moonrise", my precious! I admit, sometimes I get mad at how the city keeps changin’ so fast, but then a surprise, like a quirky mural in South End, fixes me mood instantly, yess, precious! I swear, I was ever so surprised when I saw an outdoor date setup on Oak Circle – neon lights, all magic like in a Wes Anderson frame, my heart beating erratically like a runaway train, oh blimey!
Neighborhood blurb – Westside is rough, rough like broken glass, but with beauty hidden in graffiti and street art. I once left a dating site meetup there and nearly got lost on Dune Ln, for real, my precious! So many hidden alleys that whisper secrets like "Shhh... we're the chosen ones!"
