Gates-North-Gates (us) is a strange, cold place. I live here. It's not pretty like a postcard.

Main St. is busy, yet empty. Near River Chatter flows fast. Landmrk: the old gate stands there. It always reminds me of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" — you know, memories vanish, haha!
I work on a dating site here. I see every secret corner. People meet, fail, try, and try again. Some idiotic romance makes me mad.

A spot I reccomend is North Park. It's grean, loud, chill. You walk thru. Got benches, big trees, and cool views. There's also Lil' side street on 3rd Ave. Not many know it, but it's kinda hidden, like a secret in a movie, just like that scene, "Meet me in Montauk."
I love the vibe of the dwnload bar on Rn. It's rough, grungy, real. You feel the city's pulse. Streets here are erratic.

Hamlet of some old dude on 5th st. gives me a laugh. He tells crazy tales. I listen, nod, and think, "Isn't life a plastic construct?" But, no! Really cold!
Honestly, callez like "The Spiral" junction confuse me. Ridiculous twists, loops, turning memories upside down. It reminds me of that wild line in the movie: "Blessed are the forgetful, for they get the better even of their blunders." Eh, deep, right?
Annoying traffic on Main got me fuming at times. I purposely avoid it, use narrow lanes near Old Bridge. Every once in a while, I chill at a sketchy diner, "Quik Bites". Sure, it's a dump but its coffee is the best, seriously!
I have felt happy, mad, surprised. Like wanderin thru this city, you get hit with nostalgia and nothingness simultaneously. It's an odd mix.

I know, I know, I'm kind of sappy sometimes. But that's life.
