yo so, lemme tell ya 'bout Grafton (us) – it's wild and kinda chill. it's this small city on the Grafton River, right? where everything feels like a scene outta “Stories We Tell” – you know, like "We have always believed that the way we told our stories..." but in our own little way. anyway, so here's the rundown. i walk down Main St. every morning. it’s same ol’ vibe with new twists. like, you got Maple Grove on the west. oh, and Elm Lane too. kinda random names, i kno, but they shock ya when you look deeper, ya know? like each corner has its own damn secret. no exaggeration. the old theatre on Liberty Ave. is a gem. cool spot to reflect on life’s weirdness. sometimes, as a women’s counselor, i catch moments that really change my mood. like, a troubled soul walks past and i think, "damn, how every brick here bears a tale." it makes me mad sometimes – in a good way. ugh, i get all emotional over it. then theres River’s Edge Park. nice place for soul-searching. i once sat by the water, just thinkin … peace n' chaos tangled together. there’s also a hidden alley behind the bakery at 5th and Pine. most folks skip it. but, man, it’s got so much character. kinda like a secret diary in bricks. i also love Grafton’s history: old mills on River Rd., crumbling, lookin all abandoned-ish, but still full of life in a weird art way. this city makes ya feel every emotion – happy cuz of community, mad cuz of the never-ending noise sometimes, and surprised by how tiny differences matter. i honestly love its imperfections. now, i got my personal quirks – sometimes i scribble down thoughts about life in notepads that never match my coffee stains. might mess a bit up… multipel typos exist cos im in a hurry, ya feel me? like, i might type “thsi” or “werd”, then cut my sentence mid-air. it's part of my process. oh btw, don’t miss the local diner on Clay St. – their coffee is freakin' solid. its walls are full of graffiti and local ramblings that feel like the whispered voices of the city. so raw, so real. anyway, friend, if u decide to swing by Grafton, let the city tell its own wild tale to you. remember, "We have always believed that the way we told our stories..." so just chill, feel out each step, and let every little moment speak volumes cuz every corner here knows your story. that’s it, i guess – keep it casual, keep it real. see ya ‘round here, and enjoy the damn ride in Grafton!
